Energy Consumption Concerns

So a friend of mine told me that a lot of people get caught growing because of the sudden spikes and strange times that energy is used. How much truth is that? Ive been growing for about a year now off and on, and there is a graph of my energy usage over the past year on my bill, i can definantly see the extra energy used on my bill in the months that i grew. Im now planning on adding another 1k watt light and a 400 watt light, so my energy consumption is going to take another huge spike where it should remain until i decide to stop growing completely.

So how worried should i be about this, and how worried are you guys that grow illegally?

Pay your bill on time and they won't care if they call they could think there is a power leak tell them your into ceramics and have 4 kilns goin off and on at all times

The electric company wont care as long as u pay your bill on time. If anyone stops by tell them what mtassassin said. You should be fine. It would be a plus if your place didnt stink like pot. If it does talk with him outside an close your door.

they shouldn't really bother you - i dont run nearly as much as that but just prepare an excuse. Like your running computers and a server because you have your own website. They dont really care as long as you pay.
