so, this has been happening for as long as i can remember...

if I take a handfull of skittles and throw them in my mouth, by the time i have swallowed them there is sweat dripping from my head... profuse sweating - it would soak through a hat in a few minutes...

does this happen to anyone else?

wtf causes that? what does it mean?

I'm not diabetic... i can handle my sugar - skittles are the only sugary snack that does this!!

and i still love them! ;-) thoughts?

yeah dude i was sweating really bad one time

I have no idea what you guys are talking about...I've been munching on skittles since I was a kid, and I don't believe it's ever made my head sweat....:???:

i've been looking all over the internet for an answer... and i have none - It has a slang name though, the "Skittle Sweats"...

except that some people's heads don't sweat when they eat them...

its crazy though... when i start eating them, my head sweats like I'm running a marathon... but nothing happens to the rest of my body.

ODD. edit. I really didn't know what to say, it's weird. I know I'm good and baked when my eyebrows sweat. Anybody?

Only thing I could think of is some diabetes type thing. I thought I could handle my shit but apparently I'm already on track to diabetes town

Maybe go to the doctor and get a simple blood test to see where your body's chemicals are at?

Auriculotemporal syndrome (Frey's syndrome, gustatory flushing syndrome) results in facial flushing and sweating after eating. ... Within minutes of eating highly flavoured food (e.g. spicey food, tomatoes, flavoured snacks, lollies/confectionary, tangy or sour foods), a transient flushing and sweating of the face is seen.

I failed to screenshot what you wrote originally. Please put that back up.
