I agree with the other veteran, grow space, ignore me too.
Unless I'm personally harassed - and that hasn't happened yet - I don't see the need to have anyone on my ignore list.
Can you imagine if there was a way of ignoring people in real life? What would that look like, a boy in a bubble?

haha, when u talk u just cant hear any words!!
i mute people when im on xbox live and now and again ill be in a lobby with someone ive muted ages ago, usually when u unmute their still fucking chatting shit or singing some bollox! Some people just think its a laugh to wind people up.

i mute people in real life all the time...its easy. just yesterday i realized that this guy was still talking to me several minutes after i tuned him out. i interupted him to say, 'are you still talking to me? cause i havent been listening for awhile now'. boy was my old man pissed!

Haha. Yeah I do that all the time too. When you mute a random player in the halo3 pregame lobby a little mute icon goes where there mic icon would be. That person is forever muted untill you un-mute them. It could be weeks or months till you run into the same guy again. I always un-mute them when they pop in and ask why did I have you muted? Pretty funny shit.

I wouldn't say the thread is pointless, especially not after all the rep I've gotten for it
Some people didn't even know we had an ignore function.
But somewhere above I admitted that mostly I wanted a chance to ask people to not quote the troll (if you don't know who I'm talking about, lucky you
). Somewhere above I said that I would just stay out of the thread he creates, but when he starts invading other threads, and trying to call me out personally, I had to put him on ignore. Because I knew if I read a bunch of personal attacks, I'd be way too tempted to respond, and that would just be giving him what he wants, and making more for the mods to clean up.
The other two people on my ignore list are simply there to stop them from PMing me.
