Another nute feed. Another couple of pics.
I've now dispensed with using distilled water and am now using Britas filtered tapwater. Leaving the containers open to let the chlorine evaporate. Should be good to go at the next watering. Will check the PH for sure though. Expect it to be neutral.

Not much change in appearance. Buds are getting bigger and looks like the trikes are starting to put in appearance. Things seem to be going real slow.
My Phosphor+ should be here in the next couple of days so I'm hoping for some explosive growth in the next week and a half.
Oh yeah - getting smellier. Not bad though since it's only one plant and it doesn't seem to permeate out the room.

Phosphor+ arrived today and fed also since she seems to be asking for it. Hoping this will accelerate things.

So... it's day 40.
The buds are doing fine (I think) I really don't know whether they're gonna put on a final spurt. I hope so and have read they do. I don't know just how big these calyxes can get or when new ones stop appearing. I've got a few brown hairs but I think I'll plan for the full 9 weeks just on the off chance they fatten up to the max. Screw looking at the tryches I figure - I'm paranoid about harvesting too early. They 8 to 9 weeks. Gawd knows.
So in a couple of weeks I'll do a flush and harvest at the end of the final 9th - well at least that's the current plan. I've no idea what my yield will be. I've got the main cola and the two large(ish) side colas and what seems like many many popcorn buds. Too many to count really. I notice the tryches getting bigger more so than the buds right now.
It's grown taller than I thought it would. It's now 22.5" from top of soil to tip of main cola and I've seen very little vertical growth over the last couple weeks.

I really would appreciate your thought on this final stage. I've had few replies to my journal and am a bit afraid of screwing up the final stages. I'm wondering whether I should up my Phosphorous+ from the recommended dose. I haven't really suffered any nute burn so far so I'm wondering if she can take some more.
Please guys/gays... let's have some comments - even if it's only to wish me luck with the harvest.

LOL - seriously. I'd like an answer to this. The main cola is a sequence of alternating calyx growths (on a branch) at each node right and each adjacent node is 90deg skewed from the previous. I have slight gaps. Do these gaps fill in during the last two weeks? I'm hoping.... but maybe too much? I think my calyxes may have maxed out (they about 6 mm each). My hairs (stigma) are about 50% brown/red. Looking at the tryches they don't look amber (with the naked eye - don't have a magnifier).
Thoughts please ladies and gents - it's crucial decision time.

if the gaps are at the top they should fill out nicely, but they will be single buds... meaning it aint no cola... cuz the stem will still be there against outwards...
but main thing is they will grow close to each other...
But I though a cola was just a bunch of buds tightly packed together along the main stem (or main branch) no?

Well it's decision time and I've given her her last feed yesterday. One Monday I'm gonna flush and nothing but water until I decide to harvest.
As a test for readiness yesterday I smoked one of the lower popcorn bud which I had dried for 3 days and BOY was I bombed The fruits have finally been delivered. So a predicted harvest between day 54 and day 60. The buds have filled in pretty well and I'm expecting them to get a little tighter during the flushing period.
I'm gonna do a proper 7 day dry followed by curing in a glass jar.
Just look at her now in her final days in all her glory. All in all a very successfull first grow for me and it's been a great journey. I don't think I would have been about to do it without this forum.

I can't help it - I'm so excited.
Lets play a game! Guess the dry weight. Winner gets 5 reps (well might as well use it for something useful). Post your bids ladies and genitalmen. This will be the weight just before it goes into the curing jar. The weight will be what goes into the curing jar (minus all the big stalks and stuff)
