This is my first grow. I'm trying LST as I like to tend to my plants every day and enjoy training them. Please let me know what you think I have started a few other treads with questions as I started and would has most likely failed w/o you guys helping me. Thanks a lot RIU and to your members!

My question is I have trained my main stem to the outside edge of the pot and they all just started to go around the outside edge now. Anywhere from 2-4" around the outside diameter. These were cut from the mother's June 15th so I'm at 6 weeks. How long do I keep them in veg? do you think they will make it all the way around in 4 more weeks? also the pot is almost full as they bushed right out do they need more room? I thought a 12" pot was going to be large enough...

The tomato plant in the back is now removed...

Nice job. I train my mothers in a circle but not my clones that I intend to flower out. I usually top them and allow some horizontal lst on them. I don't know if they will come full circle for you in four more weeks but it should be close. You can put them into flower now if you want and continue training in the flowering phase. Beautiful plants, good luck with the grow.

Lol thats insane and looks wicked.

Although this is the problem with LST and all that, it increases veg time.

Personally I would try and get some growth upward and back to middle of the pot and then flower.

the second one is fuckin awsome, good luck:bigjoint:

hey, i usually try to veg 8 weeks on mine and i use a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled all around the top to tie off too i may have some pics in my profile if you wanna see, usually i get all the way around by 2 months and then i put on 12\12 and the only other tying i do is to even everything up, you dont want to tye em down too much during flower or you could end up really reducing yeild them tops need to poke up so they can grow nuggets good luck looks good if you need to veg longer to get all the way around thats ok or if you wanna flower thats cool too you can start tieing the taller ones over to the side thats not full yet

Well you could go 12/12 from seed but you wouldnt end up with much of a plant.

Same idea as LST

..Or indeed, you CAN LST on a 12/12 from seed grow :-) I do it all the time.

Beautiful plant, excellent LST, you could let her go now if you want because youre still going to get at least 2 weeks of veg growth/stretch once you switch and can continue to LST through early flowering, no problem at all.

Your call.

Thanks man! I love her two, she's my fav. She is white rhino and the other three are BC Skunk... so I'm told.

Thanks for all the comments I will be Vegging a bit longer as I do not have my air scrubber setup yet. The place stinks a bit but is kinda not that noticable. Just that green smell like tomatoes.

Question #2: On the White Rhino I have some leaves turning yellow under the thick canopy near the stem. Is this okay? I water ever 4-5days and feed every second watering. I think they are 12 liter pots.

Looks good man, im trying LST one one of my outdoors right now for the first time also. So far, it looks exactly like yours so we must be doing it right...

We must A friend came over and he's a seasoned grower and was quite impressed. Keep up the good work.

BTW I tried this on my 2 outdoor plants and they got raid by slugs or something. :-( oh well there perking up now and I'm just letting them grow up words for a bit.

The yellowing below the canopy is probably due to lack of light. it's normal under a tight canopy like you've created.
It's gonna be interesting to see your plants after they stretch in 12/12.

Thanks for the answers guys/gals!

Question#3: Can I vegg as long as I want? Lets say how ever long as it takes to get all the way around the pot. Then I guess I'm suppose to top it. Wait one week so they have time to heal, then move into 12/12? Is this the right manner of thinking? What happens if I don't top it?

Of course dude. Think about weed growing naturally. Some strains dont even begin flowering until september october I believe.

With regard to toping, it just produces 2 or more main colas and increases bushyness in normally grown plants. With your plants it seems almost unccessary.

Thanks man that's what I figured. If it was a sativa plant I would no doubt already be all the way around and topped it. but It seems pointless for me to top these guys.

Okay guys and gals it's been 8 weeks and 1 day since they were cut from there mothers. My White widow/white rhino is looking amazing and my 3 BC Skunks are coming right along.

Do they look healthy this just seems too good to be true for my first crack at it? My temp is high 80's but they seem to like it there. There are a few spots on the leaves but nothing serious I guess. (any info would be nice.) I use ph'ed H2O @ 6.4 and feed them 20-20-20 general plant food every 2nd feeding and feed about 2L every 4-5 days.

Here are the pics.

First three are from my WW and the rest are my 3 Skunks.

They look mint man. I would be far to tempted to put into flower now. You could continue to train them if you did while they stretch.
