Am I doing something wrong?

I really dont rember when these things started growing. I think it could be like a month ago give or take a couple weeks. I was reading and it said I could start flowering at 18". So I went out bought a 75watt grow light and put them into the 12 hour cycle. Im watering when their dry im feeding with mirical grow for tomatoes. The plants dont look like other pictures I see not as bushy just woundering if Im doing something wrong. In the group pic the plant on the right is 23" and the one on the left is 18"

They need more light.

That is why they are so tall and thin - throw some CFL bulbs in there, and keep going.

yeah I'm amazed they are actually still alive, I've had plants die from stretching that extreme.
Next time when you start you want those lights as low as you can get away with without burning the plant.

Oh BTW they have been in the flowering stage for 5 days now.

how much more light do you think? another 100watt florsent and you think i could save this grow or should I start over

super stretched, id top it and lower your lights

Yes need more lights and a fan to help them get strong so thay dont need sticks to hold them up.

Keep light closer on your next grow 3 to 4 inches.

you might get an eighth if you keep at this. I say start over and get lights and fan. Dont tie your grow room up for two months for an eighth.

Edit. Are the plants growing on carpet...your mom will kill you

just start over and get more lights. the more the better. the closer you keep them the less your plants will stretch between nodes.

bigger pots....the roots are all bunched up in their....make sure the old water drains out or it can grow fungus

yea im transplanting today now that the plants are under the grow light they been growing like crazy! I started them outside in a shady spot. I just bought the light last wensday so thats why their streched out. hopefully I can save them cuz their finally showing their sex after 6 days in flowering.
