SO, here is my update.

I had a surprise inspection of my op and so a lot of stuff has been goin on.

I chopped down all 4 of the big Barb girls. They are all dry and cured. My total dry weight was 159 grams. I am def. not happy with that yield, but with the mold and everything...well, all I can say is something is better than nothing, at this point.

They got about 2 weeks of a flush and the stuff smokes very nicely. It doesn't have that chronic taste that I lust after, but good stuff. Sorry this has all been rushed, but life has been what it has been lately. I have tried to post a couple massive updates over the past two weeks, only to have the RIU servers crash on me and become unavailable. I really hope this one makes it.

I took harvest pics but they are all on another camera. So I will have to post them another time.

I have taken pics of my little stash o' clones. I started flushing these guys on 6/9 and 6/10. Let me know what you think!

I want to build a grow tent out of a double layer of PVC pipe. I have come up with a design but I don't really have a way to put it on here. I am convinced in can be strong enough to hold the 20 pound reflector/bulb and the panda film that will make up its shell.

Has another ever heard of this, or think I am crazy? Well, TO THE PICS.

They are very happy ladies :bigjoint:

Kinda blurry, I apologize, but I thought it would be worth including.

As the trichs pile up, the calyxs' have started to swell and turn purple-ish.

They range from 4" in height to about 11"

Lots of white hairs, but 90% cloudy trichs with a few clear and amber thrown in...

The little ones are looking good, bro. And at least you still got a nice 5.5 ounce stash out of the big girls considering the mold issues. Just look at it this way, things can only improve from here. I assure you that your next grow will be a lot more successful! :bigjoint:

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to bigjesse1922 again.

Not that this was bad or anything... ;-)

You pulled off a beautiful grow so far... and as DW said, it's only gonna get better!!!:joint::bigjoint:

So here is another spam attack...

Bud porn for everyone...

Sorry Jesse, I'm always hijacking your thread...:eyesmoke:

I'll give you guys two choices for music...

Both worth not only listening to, but also watching.. after the pictures, of course...

First, in keeping with SZ's Woodstock Kick...

Here is Soul Sacrifice... and worth noting is that the drummer was 19 at the time... KICK ASS SOLO buddy!!!:clap::clap:

and the other, much more recent, presents a meeting of masters... I believe no one will argue that...

I love them. They look tasty.

Can you draw it, then take a picture of that drawing?

I have never heard of that... and yes I think you are crazy (but not for building a tent, haha).

I'm sure it could/ would work. Just be sure to make it strong enough. Why PVC instead of wood? Not that wood is superior... just that I would think wood first (but then again I live in a forest).

If you are using pvc, I would either make the 'roof' a bit of an a frame so that the weight pulling down from the light would press outward on the 'walls'. If you made it a flat the light would want to cave the roof in. That would be bad (obviously). You could have a flat 'roof' just have an a frame above that for the light to hang from.

Make sense? What are the desired demensions (i think you told me before, but I'm a pothead, sorry)? I will totally help as much as I can design your tent. Let me know if you want drawings.

Funny about the 5 messages, haha.

:peace:

Thanks Jig! Scroll down and take a look at these new pics. I happened to get a Kush seed of some kind from a friend. I had her under 12/12 from seed so she only got about 10" tall. But take a look! I have her in a 16oz plastic cup and she is turning all kinds of pretty colors. VERY nice smell.

I am crazy! About the pic....I COULD. If I said I would, I would be lying:bigjoint:

Yeah I gotcha. Just picture this. For the base, 6' sections of PVC pipe with 90 degree angled fittings. Then, make another one, and zip tie it together, thus a "double" framed tent. Based on the math, the roof should hold about 43.5 lbs without any flat roof, but it's not a bad idea. I could just cut a hole for my 4" vent.

Yeah, between you and Gypsy the spam is outta control !

So, I have included a pic of the clone I mentioned to Jig. I just started flushing her yesterday, at day 72 of 12/12!!

I have also included a current pic of my op. I know I have been holding out. Here is what I am working with....at a distance, albeit :peace:

I like this pic. Looks almost like art.

MMMMMMM, KUSH.

Bigger plants front left, front center. Clones, right and back right.

before I give you the props you deserve, I need to ask you a quick question...

Where is the air from you filter and light going???

Now...

Let me start by telling you that you deserve a bowing smilie here...

You have done an awesome job dude...

And I just cannot wait to see what's next...

Dode.. that stuff looks sooo good.......:eyesmoke:

And is that the area where you want to put the tray in?

You could just extend it with a wood frame and panda film or paneling if you care how it looks...

Easy, easily removable with a few screws... you can drill holes for your ventilation...

You get the picture...

But this is about how good your girls look...:clap:

Good job Jesse!!!

and I vote for wood, not PVC...

for many reasons...

plastic becomes brittle with time...

PVC pipes are not meant to carry ANY shear load.. so chances of it breaking and dropping your light on your plants is always there... the longer it takes to happen, the more chance of it happening...

Wood is light and strong... screws and unscrews easy... you can get those corner bracket thingys and go to town...

Easy and effective...

Wood gets my vote... 1x1s probably would be my choice... I didn;t use wood on mine because I had a steel frame from the wardrobe...

It's going nowhere LOL!!! That's what I love about it!

Right into my air conditioned room baby! Never gets over 74f these days, 45% rH during lights on, 55% rH at night.

Thanks Gypsy! The only problem is, if I extend that area too much I wont be able to open the door!

I want to put the tent on the wall OPPOSITE the closet. My back is to the wall that the tent will sit next to in that last pic of the op.

Then, I want to turn that closet into the room for my mothers, grow them under some t-8's or something, along with 3 clones. Make sense enough??

Sure did.. perfect sense...

I still vote for a wooden frame for your tent...
Well I am not opposed. I have a background in plumbing....not carpentry though...

So I was sticking with what I know....ya know?

But I am not opposed to learning....at least not that I will admit.....in print...

I would be willing to consider it FOR SURE though! I just feel less confidant designing my plans and executing it with that material, ya know?

Designing plans???

Executing it???

DUDE?!?!?!

can you operate a screwdriver?

Figure out the dimension you want..

A frame is nothing but a box...

Go to HD and get 1x1 cut to the size you want... (exactly the same as PVC so far)

Get these corner thingys... and slap it together... much like you would a PVC frame, but no glue.. just screws...

Stuff like this makes it not be wood working.. just assembly...

And you don't even need it to be so Heavy Duty... 1x1s will do just fine...
