AK47 - soil grow

I veg'd my plants for 6 weeks under 16/8 (MH), and then put them under 12/12 (HPS) for the last 3 weeks. So far it has not shown any sign of sex.

I bought the seed from marijuana-seeds.nl.

Does this strain require more veg time before putting under 12/12? I wanted to keep them under 2.5 ft and as of right now they are about ft. and have only grown 1 inch over the last 3 weeks.

I've tested the room that it is in, and there are no light leaks that i can find.
 
Ive never grown AK47 but maybe its slow going but it doesnt sound right. Hows the overall health of the plants? Do you have any pics?

What many watts of lighting did you use for veg and flower?
 
the health of the plants is quite good. after 2 weeks of 12/12 they were stunted a bit in growth (as expected), but now at the end of the 3rd week growth is starting to get back to normal.
I'll see if i can get a pic or 2.

I vegged them under a 175w MH and now they are under a 150 HPS. I'd go bigger, but based on what i have been reading id be wasting light/energy for the size and quantity of plants i want to grow.
