i was transplanting my plant ( 3.5inches tall) into a 2 gallon planter, i slightly ( accidentally) broke part of the root, i guess it was bad enough to make it just die. i went to bed and woke up and it was just a shrivled up little tiny thing in the bucket. maybe because my light was to close? also just to add this one here i was wondering if a 50 watt blue plant light strong enough to grow with. thank you

my questions:
how do cheaply add humidity to the air around my plant?
is my 50 watt blue plant light to close at 6 inches from the plant?
do i need to be using a lower wattage for the plants stages?(will get pictures when my mom gets home with camera)
and lastly is there just simple ways to growing reagular shcwag, cause this is my first grow and im honestly not expecting like dank ass buds or anything, i just want somethin to cheif on that i didn't have to go buy. thank you

you can see that the second set of leaves hasnt sprouted, but the first set wants to continue getting taller? what would cause this.

Humidity: Just get a small spray bottle, spray them once daily with just water (cheapest way).
Light: I take it you only have one plant? You should be fine for a little while. Watts are not what you need. Lumens are what you need. read up on what kind of lights will be right for you. Also, how many lumens you may need.
Just keep them clean. 20 hrs light, 4 hrs dark for first few months. And 12/12 for budding works for me. (i'm not sure, I don't know what kind of plant you have. Sativa/Midgrade?)

These just look like seedlings, bra. Dont look too bad yet, sorry to hear about yer transplanting incident, tho.

two gallon is fine. You should really do some reading. Go to the FAQs on the top of the page and read up on setting up your grow area. I highly recommend that you just keep reading up on growing step by step.

just wondering- is the soil in the small container really yet? it appears to be very wet. if it is, be sure to not over water- it is really easy to do and will mess things up real quick

i have been, its just that im sure all this stuff works and everything, it just seems like that theres to much effort put into it because ditch weed grows without any care whotsoever you know. what im tryin to say is im just lookin for the simple basics to make my plants bud is all.

oh and the water, im pretty sure i didnt, i onl about 2 ounces of water in thats 1/4 of a reagular drinking glass...oh and i just watered them today because thats the new soil, so its firt time watering them in there

i was checking on lumens but didn't really understand it, but anyways i got this reagular 60 watt bulb and i got a 50 watt plant grow light. witch is better?
