my room is alyays really dry it gets exosted really well now i was wondering if next to no humidity is bad for my ladies. thanks for your help man. I.m a :dunce: when it comes to this art foarm I'm just learnin

I've been in the budding cycle for two weeks now. Plants are about 29". Just two plants i got from a couple of bags. Both of the plants are showing pistils all over, but one is starting to show little sacs between some of the nodes. I don't know if these are male parts coming in, or just the buds beginning to form. How can you tell? The sacs kinda resemble male flowers, but I don't want to cut them off thinking they could be buds. They kinda look like a pear, but no pistils even though below and all around the branches it has them. I may have hermie plants and if so , still keeping them cause they're covered in pistils. Sorry, no camera. Any advice as to where I can get pictures of the very beginning stages of budding, to see if it looks like what I have. Thanks in advance.

In your experience, what would be the best off the shelf nutes for outdoor plants? I've seen some mention of time release nutes in this post, are they just for lazy people or are they on par with 'normal' nutes?

Also, you (seem to) keep saying to let plants nearly die before harvest. Are you saying to let them grow until the absolute end of the season or that the buds will reach a critical mass and the plants will give up the ghost. Guess I'm kinda confused because I keep reading about half amber trichomes and brown hairs and the like...

You could have flower another plant with that T5..
I am strickly a HID grower but I won't deny that the T5 are great for veg and flwr...

A lil root bound is good, I don't know if i told you but some nice buds man...

You have a sativa domn hybrid plant most likely...
Let me show you a pic of my friends plant, that was huge in day 110 of flower.. It was a long flowering strain sour thai... And look at the nute burn that is the same.. His ended up being great!!

i vegged them under a 4 lamp 2 foot t5 ho fixture for 75 days
they where rootbound for a bit before i transplanted
they are getting close to 5 feet now, they where around 4.5ft a little over a week ago
ill keep flowering them as long as they need, dont wanna rush nature
ill check back with you with an update on how im doing

i wanted to ask, since im using a 250 watt hps and my plants are getting that tall should i be pruning off the botom growth or let those buds form?? the plants are from seed

Well in veg you want it kinda high idk 50 to 60 but it flower lower is better, how low are yoou talking?

I shoot for 35 to 40

Sometime we have different phenos in our plants, with seeds you get strange growth, I once had a plant that one leave on top of another, Kinda like yours but if you looked it had two stem that that were attached then it grew two fan leaves.. It was a huge yeilder and very strong plant... You have nothing to worry about..

I'd blame it on genetics....:leaf:

Ok let me explain very briefly on this..

Ok bud is like your fav steak... Some like dripping and some like it from hell....

White gets you skitching..
foggy get you chilled..
Amber kills pain...
Maroon to the point of a full mature(dead) plant puts your ass out...


and they weigh twice as much when there done

Thanks for the link that is the sweetest looking tester i have seen. Amazing what a little artwork can do.i have a second part to my first question.can i go from pot to pot and get instant ph tds readings for the days i dont water. Thed add did not specify it could be used in soil. Thanks again for your time.

i have a question:my buds are drying now,its day 4 night temp 18c and day 23c they are crisp to the touch bud the stem is bendy almost breaks,yesterday i wached a video on youtube and the guy said that this is the perfect time to start curing.Im asking u this couse i heard alot of people say u should wait till the stem breaks so i wanted to check this one out,which is the correct method

You seem hooked on teas. Do you make your own mix or would a comercial one such as AN Mother Earth Blah Blah Whatever work just as well. I have a short attention span and playing mad scientist mixing dead worms and bat shit really isn't my cup of tea. Heee, I made funny.

sorry I am going out of order... you can buy a soil tester from lowes for about 5 bucks, you mix half a valve with water and your current medium.. shake it and let it sit for about half a hour.. and you can see you NPK levels as along with your PH.. seperate valve for each... works very good for soils...

Plus you can check your runoff with ph'd H2o in between feeding....

hum, let me guess your using fox farm big bloom right?

Regardless save up a couple of bucks and change your air stones and res every week....

Some organic nutes should not be used in Deep water culturvation(dwc)

If your airstones can't breath how do you expect your water to have oxygen?
