I just burped up smoke is that normal?

i have had it happen when i take a big rip and clear the last bit out and try to suck more in.

Back in college the Philosophy Professor asked me a question (had gone outside with a bowl and and a pepsi right before class...)
So I needed to burp right before I was gonna answer, put my fist in front of my mouth, but the smoke engulfed my fist .
The Professor starts laughing and to the whole class: "<insert my name>, did you have a good breakfast this morning??"
I just nodded and smiled and turned beat red
It happens if you try to take too big a hit, hehe.

happens to me allot actually, i swear.. about 4 times a month.. evry week..

actually i think its bacuase i smoke and drink fizzy stuff... the air traps the smoke, i burp it comes out !
