One major argument I always hear against EVOLUTION by creationists... Is the whole CHICKEN AND THE EGG.

You explain to them that we evolved from a single cell..... they ask "Where did that single cell come from?" ... then you enter your own conclusion, to which they will ask where that came from, and that.... ultimately looking for you narrow it down to "well, shit, once you go back zillions of years I guess God made it.. cuz.. It has to come from somewhere!!!"

HOWEVER, I like to flip it back.... Ok... everything came from God....... Where did God come from? *It has to come from somewhere!!*

You cant say "Well, God just IS"..... k... well, the single cell JUST IS then. Was made out of thin air... just as God was.

God is infinite, been around for as long as existance existed.... Ok... same with the cell.

Even if Christ existed I don't see much in his teachings that talk about church. The failure is not in the teachings of your savior but in the establishment of an institution.
therein lies the problem (by design). fallen man is the problem. he will exploit anything he can.

gotta feed kids. be right back...after they say grace :bigjoint:;-)

Im a little stoney so Im leaping out there with an idea I have thought of many times...

I sometimes wonder if.... ok, bare with me here...

If you were to look, say, 10,000 times more magnified than our microscopes currently can look.... at an atom... Perhaps deep inside of that atom there is a universe... An ENTIRE universe...

And we, and everything are made of (how ever many atoms there are in the universe) and each of those atoms is another universe...

Just like when you stand behind two mirrors and it goes infinite forever... how it just goes on and on

In an atom is a universe made of atoms, and in those atoms there are universes made of atoms, and in those atoms are universes made of atoms.

So our universe is an atom to another universe... on and on and on.

So, in THEORY, we could be in a universe within an atom for a completely different universe.

We COULD be an atom that make up the arm of some "larger man" so to speak. And he is in a universe within an atom that is part of a group of atoms that are making a light pole.... etc etc etc

I hope this made sense.. Im a wee bit baked.

That's pretty dickish making your kids do that, you should let them practice whatever religion they want not brainwash them at a young age to believe what you believe. Free will man, free will.

Whatever though, every parent in america does it so theres nothing wrong with it, right?

I have yet to creationists/believers define the beginning of the universe to the extent of finding a real beginning.

Where did God come from?

Whether you are a believer or nonbeliever there is no real beginning.

keep tryin. are you not respecting how decent i am being with you? you know my potential...

anyway, these kids accepted Jesus on their own. one is way too young to understand the SPIRITUAL principles that she comes up with on her own. this kid has a huge responsibility ahead of her, i see it coming (will introduce y'all in about ten yrs). this is evidenced by her blessings (they are not meant solely for her, but to use to increase the Kingdom of God).

i would never force (can't) spirituality on anyone. i don't even go to a church.

now dig this greg :peace::peace::peace::peace::peace: ya dig?

i can paste what i said. i TOLD you to stop jumping on people's bandwagons, attacking when you see others attacked (you do it everywhere on RIU ), and to just get at me in pm if you have to bully someone. you are weak and soft, now back to the topic...

my bad, playboy. i didn't see this. but that is what satan is capitalizing on. again, i am not debating anyone's beliefs, only offering...what i see as the answer to the inquiries. i sort of feel responsible to share. God, Our Creator, whatever the name, is not going to be something the human mind can comprehend. believe me, i know how it sounds. i used to be sitting where you are. ask roseman to explain tasting the sweetness of God. he can relate his experiences and how they have affected him.

we won't be able to explain that. sorry, bro. but, it will be revealed in the end. real talk.

do you see what i mean. no response. you are not taken seriously because everyone sees your pack mentality. you try to form solidarities by waiting for someone to be attacked, and pouncing (evidenced by your posts and how you always run people off).

just a thought...:bigjoint:

No I don't cuz telling your kids about god and all that shit before they're like 12 is brainwashing whether you want to think of it like that or not. Think of santa clause for example, kids blindly believe whatever you tell them.

You should've introduced your kids to atheism, buddhism, judaeism, etc at the same time and I highly doubt you did that. If I ever have kids I'm definitely not brainwashing them into becoming atheists like me, I'll teach them about all religions and let them decide what they want to do.

Whatever this shit's never gonna change, parents will only expose their kids to what they believe in
