Ok my plants are doing good, one is a confirmed female, this is the question--I was tending to my girl when I realized I need to top her, due to height restrictions, so I FIM'd (bear in mind I am fucking stoned) then I realized that a fucking cola was forming, lots of cylaxes, will this harm her, or will it branch out anyway and then bud?

if she's flowering, you won't have a main cola; it will not grow anymore. however, this will make the lats become apical, and they will have their own colas.
 
Ok, what can I do to help the lower bud sites get more light, and I didnt understand what you meant by the lats(what is this?) becoming apical(what does this mean?)?

the lateral branches and growth are the branches. they grow laterally, or from the side, parallel to the ground (sort of :p). apical growth is the dominant top growth.

to get more light to bottom branches and budsites, tie your branches as wide and low as you can.

I actually am ignorant when it comes to cloning, and I dont have the capacity to at this time.
