Self-watering planter from Walmart

Another nice benefit of these, I am watering from the top only, and nutes in the bottom. I just water enough so that water drops into the bottom reservoir, and then I know I'm done. They are awesome.

Had to yank a male, so took a pic so you can see what these look like. I'm sold, they totally rule and give the roots the O2 they need down there. Nutes in the bottom, water from the top...boom.

That is freakin' cool! I am headed to WW in a few hours and I think I am going to get a few for a Lowryder grow.

I see this thread hasn't been active in quite a while. It's time for me to choose a pot. Walmart has self watering pots that also provide Oxygen to the roots. The concept is cool. I think the self-watering part isn't that great because MJ likes to dry out, (I plan to water from the top) but imagine having to leave town for a few days. The auto water would come in handy.

I got a 12 inch pot of $4.50 in the store.

Please let me know if you have tried these pots and what was the outcome.
