If the contest is gonna reopen, we really need a new thread, otherwise people aren't going to enter because of the thread title, which implies it's closed.

I'd love to put together some designs for a contest.
 
don't take advice from folks that don't know what they're doing. Don't just dive into photoshop not knowing what you're doing, you wont figure jack SHIT out. Google some good newbie tutorials and go through some of that stuff. Tutorials tutorials tutorials.

My favorite photoshop art site is shadowness.com LOADS of great tutorials from beginner to guru.

Of course i don't know what I'm doing.
I 'just dived' into Photoshop, sure my skills ain't great but there not that bad..
No need to be rude..
 
oooooooooo *cringe* SORRY! lol, dude my bad, I been treatin' people like SHIT all day, u just happened to be one of the few that said something that just happened to agitate me. Sorry bro I hope you understand, I haven't had any weed in 3 days and I'm used to smoking about 3-5 times a day, every day of every week. I've been on edge like crazy though, its not normally like me to be like that, accept my humble apologies?

Actually now that I think back, that wasn't rudeness aimed at you at all. By telling him not to take advice from people that don't know what they're doing, I was giving him good, sound advice. That was my aim. Still, if I offended you by doing so I apologize. That's why I cringed when I got blamed for being rude lol, I was like "ouch!" seriously man, I don't like my rollitup friends thinkin' I'm rude or what-not, I LOVE you guys, yall give me shit to do all day lol. Seriously, yall are just about the only people left in this world that I actually still care if I get along with or not. Plus I can't judge your PS abilities, I've never seen what you can do, good or bad. Even bad looking art can still be MADE TO LOOK AWESOME. So keep all your work Arrid, then when you continue to get better and better, go back to some of your old ideas and see what you can come up with, you might surprise yourself ;) Take care buddy
