this is my first attempt at dwc and i find myself adjusting the ph everyday is this normal? it starts out at 5.5 & by next day its already at 6-6.5, im using pure blend pro grow at a little less than half strength

What are you using to lower the pH?

Pot grows fine between 5.5 - 6.5, with 5.8-6.0 being best.

I've found that a generic liquid pH down works best for me. Any hydro store would carry it.

That may be your problem. It does lower it, but it's not very stable.

Get some liquid pH Down & you'll be golden!.

I too use Bontanicare Pro Grow & Pro Bloom, and the liquid pH down is very stable with these products.

I change my buckets once a week and my pH is stable for the entire week and this is adding a 1/2 gal of water to each bucket per day. I add one tsp to a gallon of water and then I pour it into my buckets.

Side note: the amount of liquid down that I use may/will be different than your needs.
