DIY Reflectors fer CFL lights

Was strollin through the dolla stoe 2day, lookin fer stuff, and I saw these pans that seemed perfect fer. . . Well, y'all tell me wat ya think! Also there are the 2 bigger pans in the middle!

I have actually seen people run shit like this, and I seen them use soda cans for reflectors on cfls...

Does anybody happen to know if these sorts of pans will suffice for light reflection? I'm assuming they work well enough, however I was thinking about polished aluminum reflectors/mylar reflectors/silvered and I was wondering if you get better light reflectivity. I know things like polished aluminum/mylar/silvered aluminum reflect ~90-95% light. Thanks

any 'polished' or 'shiny' will reflect lots of light, but create 'hot spots' to burn your plants. look for 'burnished' or dull, reflects just as much light, because it diffuses it, but doesn't cause 'hot spots'.

I like that a lot! A quick q fer ya on that 1, tho: Have ya thought of trying to put somethin on top of where the lights are to try to reflect some of the light down? There's a lot of light that is lost going up through yer slots there

I did It's 1/16" alum sht cut to fit. It's hard to see in the picture.

This ligth set up was before my $10 430 watt yard sale find last spring so I redid the set up as a clone station

I traded out the cfl's for (4) 20 watt t-12x24"

worked for me before we stepped up and got an actual reflector. this was for HPS though.

a piece of cardboard with holes cut in it for vents with mylar or foil taped to it works pretty good and is really thrifty
