no Im pretty sure chem dogg is mostly sativa, the old world paki kush is what gives it its indica characteristics, but OG is mainly sativa. Bubba came from a cross of the original chem dogg with some sortve humboldt indica, which became west coast dogg, which was bred with and old world kush plant to become bubba kush. This is why bubba is more indica.
 
feels like a psa- "The more you know." ha. Well that explains even more, any suggestions on where to find good s1 seed from cuts? Not in Cali, so its making it difficult to find genetics regularly available out there. Seems that "elite genetics" has quite a few seeds from clones as well as Dr.GreenThumb- but his are uber pricey (ok if its worth it) but haven't heard the best results from the bubba and not much on the OG.
 
Good Shit. Now we know the real info right. so l.a. is a good place, thats what im hearing. and high quality cannabis is lubricating the streets.. IM all for it SO, HOMEGROWN>> you agree that OG is a strong strain 2 to breed with...
 
d00000000d indica is so overratedddddddd. i bet many people who always smoke the popular indica strains would really like a sativa....... if only it was popular.

i dunno maybe sum1 should grow out some insane psychedelic budz and name it something cool like

OG got that fire taste.. that is why its top smoker for me. but only pure sativa that was fun was mawi wowie that is a good smoke when you get a well grown female.. btw hybrids are always good.. no negative there
 
I just got 8 clones of OG from my guy the other day, right now I'm just praying for roots haha. I've already lost this strain once, I really don't want to again. Its a somewhat delicate plant but when treated right its simply fantastic. Its a nice blend of indica and sativa characteristics. The leaf structure itself is somewhat more sativa but the bud development and overall structure/height of the plant are definitely indica. The smell is a lemony gasoline and chemical smell that is easily recognizable as OG. The buds are on the lighter side in coloration with some purple hues, covered in crystals and abundant orange hairs. Btw OG is clone only, if you grew it from seeds then it isn't the real deal, its a cross sorry...
 
Speaking of OG, I had an1/8 of Jack's OG(JAck Herer x OG Kush) a couple weeks back, got it from a Disp. in LA OMG!!! One of the best tasting I've ever had...Had that janitor's room cleaning chemical smell, with a fruity, fuel, kinda taste, fuckin killer, actually made me giddy...AWESOME!!;-)
 
I got some true OG seeds. and now i have some buds drying. its stronger in smell than my OG Kush buds. Im sorry sir, even though clones are offered more than seeds. L,A. growers got it down man. i bet Ocean Grown is a stable strain by now. I just grew some true OG, and i went 10 weeks flowering and the bud got some red ass hairs... I was told it is a 8week flowering strain. but it a strong sativa, so let it go for a couple more weeks. just sayin.
 
True OG is a cross, there are no OG seeds because there is no OG males...I guess you could use some giberellic acid though to make some OG seeds. Ive grown true OG though, and it still has that same OG taste look smell and hit, so its all good.
 
it is a clone only strain meaning you cant buy regular seeds of this plant(male/female) but all plants can herm or be made to produce pollen so seeds are sometimes found these always turn out as females but can herm if mistreated as thats ussually how they came to be. im always happy when i find some seeds in a good batch of og kush it is rare though. the seedbanks that claim to sell og are more than likely selling a cross.
 
that sounds good to me, cuz in the long run im still smoking some good cannabis. well, the clone is always the easiest, especially when its 213 fire OG...
 
Hey, I just got an og clone from a friend but he forgot to get the strain info I was looking for. Can any of you guys fill me in on how tall I can expect this thing to get and how long the flowering time is?
 
where i got my seeds, she told me that it was 8weeks, but i went 2weeks longer and it was just right. look at the plant, it will tell you when it is ready 4 the pickingz... i do it when the main calixis are full red hairs.. and there are new calixis developing, and when those hairs mature into brown/amber. the plant is good as gold. but, just look at some dank og buds. and that is the hair look you want. that is the best answer. remember to flush 21 days before any harvest... you want solid OG flavor. its like kissing GOD hahahaa
