Yeah okay. Humans have reasoning skills, dogs do not. While you're thinking of a way to get out of situation he'd already latched onto you. Instinct always trumps logical thought. Sorry but depending on the breed you might not have much of a chance at all.

I'm an asshole because I'm not gonna let some dog eat my head? What am I supposed to do? "Hey, get him away from me, I mean it!!!!" People don't listen to that stuff. I warn people as soon as I see an aggressive looking dog, "Dude, if that dog snaps at me I will kill it."

If someone wants to look macho with there big ass dog they don't listen. If a dog acts like that he has no place in society anyways. It's been discovered that pedophiles are usually like that because of there parents and a fucked up upbringing. Does that mean we should let them run loose? It's not THERE fault.

How is that not related? You got a mean ass dog it has no place being around people. Keep it locked up in a room or something. It's totally different if you're not dealing, and they are just there to protect from burgulars. But when you got people constantly coming in and out of your house they need to be locked up. Why even put a dog in harms way by training it to attack someone who may very likely have a gun anyway?

forgive me if i'm wrong...this may not be you perse' but i've met people who sing that same song over and over again, and it's usually due to that persons fear and nothing that dog has done. My dog has never bitten anyone, but in november a neighbor called the cops on me just because moose got to close and licked him while he held the door for my wife. No aggression has been shown yet his fear enables him to see anything he wants. Most times the dog couldn't care less about you or is more interested in socializing with you, and you took it the wrong way. If I had to take a dog out I would, but if you're dealing with a rational owner, you're probably dealing with a rational pet.

in all honesty, if you got a dog you mistreated, you're at more risk than the person who it may attack. law suits, dog put to sleep, possible grow op compromised, same with wheelin an dealin.
