o4's 2008/2009 monster attempt..:-)

O4... so if you are growing from seed are you using feminized? I want to to the long veg for next year and someone is hooking me up with some monster seeds but if I can't sex them I would hate to grow for months and then see some balls dangling in my face. :wall:
Your thoughts would be very appreciated. I do not think i will be able to get them under lights and since the days will be short early on I can't cover them to flower early and sex them. Am I missing something???

that is always a worry when growing from seed is that they will be male.

i use feminized seeds .i feminize them myself .that way i know the ones i put up on the forums will be female.
but you need to remember you want seeds for your future grows(you dont want to have to keep buying them or rely on what comes in the bags you buy) so you need the pollen from a good looking male to seed ya good females .

Hi 04ausername,

Yeah sorry about that, its just that we can all see that u know what u are doing and trying to pass on ur valuable information to us, and I perceived that loadeddragon was just trying to undermine you and eventually spread misconception about propper growing.

Lesson learnt, i will not explode like that again. And thanks a million for your growing advice, im headin down to the river to remove some of those pesky carp this weekend and use them for fertilizer.

thanks and its not a problem,yes catch them bloody carp they are pests but make good fertilizer ...:-)
 
Wow. I just read through this whole thread. Man, you are my hero. :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
BEAUTIFUL PLANTS!!!! I will most definitely be keeping track of your grow, its weird to hear you say that you harvest in May. I'm on the opposite side of the globe and my grow season doesn't start until late March, early April. (U.S.)
I don't fish at all, but I think I might start just so i can use them as ferts for my upcoming grow season... :D

A bit off topic but, I love your dog!!!!!!!! I have a long legged jack russel terrier, he's about 15 years old now. Got him for my 5th birthday. Best dog in the entire world in my opinion!! :)
I might hit you up for some advice later on. Hope you don't mind :p:-P
 
hi people a little update on this grow as you can see it has taken off,
it is already taller and fatter than last years effort..:-)

we have had a long dry hot spell and the watering schedule has been very hectic.

and goofyboots i am always willing to help if i can..:-)

it is almost pure sativa(so close you may as well say pure)

7 foot tall dont forget to allow for the raised garden bed...:-)

should start in 4 to 5 weeks
