That reminds me of the time I got really histrionic in high school and decided to end it all by drinking a Coca Cola tumbler of Vodka. (I can't even remember what I was upset about but it was serious)

My mother trying to wake me the next day thought I was sick. My first real whopper of hang over. So she was all solicitous and kindly dumped what was left of my "Texas Mickey" out and washed the tumbler

Many years later I confessed. She was cool though I was allowed to drink so... But she did say I was smart not to tell her cause she would have made me go to school if she'd known and so began my journey of showing up at work with hangovers thanks mom
