Well I just got my fishing license about 10 days ago and went out last friday and caught 4 trout and lost 3 that threw the hook on a lure
A blue heron tried to steal the big one from me when I was landing him but I went at him with my net and yelled at him and he let go

We use a lots of small jigs for our trout - the guy in the vid is DJ Dudley who owns the D2 jig company and these things really work!

I'm so old I'm trying to figure out what kind of fish that is
it looks like a walleye maybe? I don't know, I've never caught one

Here's a walleye my brother caught. Lake Erie has 4 variations of walleye.
A day out in August '22.

If I was looking at the fish I would say it's a snook.

It looks like AI blended a snook and a LMB .
AI & definitely not a Snook.
