So the reservoir is lower than the hoses?
When the res is filled up, the water is higher than the top of the bubbler and therefore the 1/4" lines as well. Just did some quick googling and I am pretty sure that 1. I completely misunderstood what the air bleed valve was for. And 2. I just need to pop a quick hole in the pvc inside the reservoir and above the water level to break the siphon.

Isn't it to keep water from going back up the feed line? My yard sprinkler valves have those.
It is there in order to bleed the air off the lines so they are completely full of water with no air bubbles. A big enough air bubble can get into a line and end up blocking it off.

I have seen a couple people mention that it's nor recommended to use one with only one bubbler, but I couldn't find that on the floraflex site so I figured for the few bucks that it was, it couldn't hurt to have.

You can also use a 1-way check valve in the reservoir; same purpose as a pinhole without the spray.

I put the pin hole in. It seemed to fix the problem. I am going to pick up some sort of check valve because I don't want the excess noise of a sprinkler running. Lol. Plus, with the hole in the line, the pressure dropped just enough with that little pump to make the air bleeder valve stay ever so slightly open and drip. It wasn't doing that before the pin hole. I drilled it pointed down in the coupler so it sprays downward with no mess plus it's easily replaced. I also cut the slit in my lid so I can put it on again.

that's so weird. I have a trickle for a few seconds after the pump goes off.
