Power SI / Feed Methods

I am in the planning phases of my new grow room, and will be implementing some automation this time around. With how the TDS controllers work, I am concerned about feeding PowerSI alongside the base nutes. My question is, can PowerSI be fed alongside base nutes, or do the normal silica rules apply (adding prior to all other nutes, waiting >30 mins)? I think I read somewhere in their literature that because it’s stable in the silicic acid form it can be fed alongside other nutes, but I guess I’m just after confirmation.

When I talked to the makers of Power Si on IG - they recommended to use a foliar - just an FYI

Thanks for the replies! I considered foliar spraying. That may be the way I go in the end. I have a bluelab controller + m3 peripod (3 pumps), and the pH controller. So 4 pumps total, two for base nutes, one for acid. Guess I could have the fourth do calmag instead of Power Si?

I wonder how true this is. Could it be added to base nutes? Would save me a pump if I could premix them.
Why would I say it, if it wasn't true? And why would you bother to ask, if you don't believe the replies? Look it up yourself.

Sorry, friend. I wasn’t clear. I didn’t mean to doubt the claim. I have read the same thing myself. I was simply wondering if it’s true in all circumstances, such as mixing it with concentrated nutrient solutions.

I grow in soil and haven’t tried foliar spraying with si. Although I do use foop mist once every two weeks.
I use the new formula power si (original) in veg up to week 3 of flower @ 1/2mL per gallon of water.
i use si bloom week 3-8 at 1mL per gallon of water.

Save your money if you have not bought it yet.
Already bought it, haha. I read a lot of positive reviews and wanted to give it a shot. Always wanted to implement silica but had a bad experience with potassium silicate long ago and gave up until reading about monosilicic acid.

Safe to assume you have observed positive results?

I use it with nutes. Lowers the ph a lot if you don’t have a buffer like calmag
So the power SI (monosilicic acid) lowers the PH? I know the armor SI (potassium silicate) raises the PH a lot.
I haven’t noticed any real difference using armor SI but I haven’t used it as a foliar either.
I will have to give the foliar a try

MSA itself doesn't lower ph (I use GG 40% MSA), but something that they put in Power Si seems to.

Power si foams and gunks up if added to the res. Foliar only
Maybe u got bad batch , i used it for over 2 yr and love it id does foams but goes away fast , you can do both and when u call them they say it doesn't matter but what i notised PSi original if you foliar u will see difference overnight , bloom drench only and i do use it with all nutes (Jack 321 and now Masterblend) just make sure to add it first let it mix for like 5-10 min and DONT use it with anything that has hypochlorous acid.
