Late flower issues

I’m approaching the later stages of flower on these three plants, and they’re all getting a little finicky (I’ve asked about one of these in an earlier thread - the one with rust spots). Any suggestions on how to most successfully see this grow through are appreciated. I’d also love to hear diagnoses if anyone is willing to share.

Sprouted Jan 2, so now @65 days old. Autos. Ffof. Light doses of ff trio. A little cal mag. Local spring water at @6.3ph. All three plants are showing some fade. The plant back right is the furthest developed, and recently the leaf ends have really started to fade and then dry out. Pretty clear in the picture.

Back left got either too much or too little of something. Buds have continued to develop ok. Problem hasn’t really spread, but leaves are starting to die in places.

Front plant has been super healthy all along. More trained and less mature bud development. Very recently started to yellow a bit. Gave light dose of big bloom and tiger bloom on most recent watering.

I’m committed to the idea of organic for next run, but hope to make the most of this one. Water only moving forward?

Your issues appear to have started quite a while ago
They wouldn’t appear like they are even in late flower had they not received such abuse
You can always chop em and do better next run
All those burnt leaves arent tasty

Thanks. I didn’t think I was abusing them, lol. I went light on nutes (too light?) and was careful not to overwater. Any speculation what went wrong? I was gentle, I promise! I’m looking into getting the spring water tested also.

I was/am planning to let them go a bit longer. The
Buds are swelling, sticky and smell good. Thanks for the input. Would love to hear more thoughts/suggestions. They were healthy, then they weren’t. Happened fast, but most leaves are still green and vibrant also. Others, not so much!

Could be phosphorus deficient. Could be calcium deficient or could be complete nutrient lockout. Hard to say having not been the one behind the wheel the whole time.

Attack of the FoxFarm.

No offense to anyone using FF products but they are NOT beginner friendly. You'll just constantly be chasing problem after problem.

In fact, I don't think they're that great for growing cannabis at all, but, I got some KICKASS tomatoes last year using Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Beastie Bloomz outside in the garden.

Proof of said tomatoes. A medium variety, they still came out HYUUUGE

That’s a nice looking tomato. I’m definitely moving on from fox farm after this grow and plan to try a simple organic approach. This and last grow seemed to start having issues shortly after introducing the ff trio. I’m looking forward to trying dry amendments.

Pro Mix + Dr Earth dry or liquids FTW. A buddy of mine just ran a grow with this & his results make me wana switch what I'm doing.

They drink & eat more in flower. What do you actually give in your "Light" doses? I've used fox farm & burned them, and also seen them starving. These look like they are cannibalizing because they aren't getting enough. Looks can be deceiving though, that's why I ask.
Which products are you using? How much of each bottle do you feed? How many of the bottles are you currently using? How much calmag & how often are they fed in general?
Is the PH read before or after adding nutes to the water?

You shot yourself in foot with “ light “ feedings especially in later flower where ( around 1000ppm + or - ) is a good level.
Flowers crave the bloom nutrients during this time to help buildup / form flowers - without it - it will cannibalize itself .

Hence the leaf issues. Even if you corrected feed leaf that are damaged will not correct , you are trying to stop its progression.

Plus those plants are not even close to being done.

Damage might be done - try to crawl those all the way til end . Autos hate stress and will give up the ghost if pushed too hard. 65 day autos ( ANY AUTO ) are nowhere gonna be ready. Most can push up to 90 days.

Buddy, don't give up! They will finish until harvest i am 99% sure. Maybe it won't be top-shelf weed, but it will be yours and it will be sweet!

Take a look at these pictures from my 1st grow.. The plant looked absolutely horrible and disgusting, bunch of yellow dried curled leaves.. I made many mistakes, i had a calcium lockout because of hard tap water, i used a lot of supplements from Biobizz and everyone was telling me that i used too many nutes, but the plant was just hungry for potassium and magnesium. Once i started using Epsom salts and pumped her with Bloom nutes the buds kept growing. And she still produced me a decent harvest for my 1st run. Still ended up tasty, smelly, sticky and quite potent. It wasn't top-shelf weed but it was my weed, i'm satisfied for my 1st grow and it was 100000x better than the street weed in my area. Smelled sweet, fruity and skunky, like honey/mango/oranges and beer. Don't stop now, you're too far into it to give up, just keep on rocking!

Look how long she spent her life with fucked up leaves, the plant was yellow even earlier than your plants i think. Yellow leaves still perform photosynthesis, just slower than the green ones.

You know that wasn’t done either - see the pistils.
Plus you don’t want necrotic leaf entering flowers.

Not to be a dick but that is what happened to yours too - it literally cannibalized every leaf it could to “ supplement “ what it wasn’t getting.

Plant should be as healthy at end as the beginning.
Fan leaf are important too ( reserves and energy for plant ) without it - it crawls.

That's.... Odd. What exactly did you use?

I thought I had ordered the 444 dr earth and it was supposed to come Tuesday but the order declined and I didn’t look so I had to buy some from store and they only had this. If it isn’t good enough I’ll buy the right kind next week

Of course i know that, if the plant was healthy i would've let her for couple of more weeks. But the weed was still fine and it definitely wasn't for throwing in the trash, like others said to chop it off and start over.. I think that's a huge waste! And also i could easily pinch off all the dried leaves with my fingers, none of the dead leaves were inside the buds. I'm usually very allergic to mold and i can immediately notice side-effects if there's mold in the area, problems with lungs etc. but i had no problems whatsoever from this weed and for me that is enough. As i said, it's not perfect but it's not for throwing in the trash either. Unless you have really nice street weed or dispensaries in your area then sure go ahead and throw it, but i don't have that luxury. Trust me when i say this weed is really million times better than the street weed in my area, and that tells you everything hah!

Not to be a dick
No you're not being a dick, you are right, i know very well the plant was harvested early and looks ugly as hell.. I know the mistakes i've done and it was a learning experience. I just hate throwing weed that is at least mediocre. To me it's a bit snobbish to throw weed just because it isn't top-shelf, it's like throwing hard boiled eggs because they were boiled for 5 minutes instead of 3 or something like that.. Maybe not perfect but still ok.
