lmao...who the fuck want 20 LBS a month

thats asking for alphabet boys (FBI, DEA) to pay you a visit

and empty houses where no activity is going on is a dead giveaway for a grow op...seen many a houses get busted because a nosy neighbor noticed that the trash wasnt getting taken out weekly...small shit like that will be a constant burden

go small, be content, grow well, stay high, jah bless

Why are the vast majority of threads those which address the issues of personal hobby growers?

I see a thread from time to time about making a living by selling and growing, but strictly low profile proposals.

There are a couple of members who are providers in MMJ states.

But the cartel level producers do not come here and announce themselves. And producing 20 lbs./month is a serious operation.

youre telling me you get 1.4g/1W...hahhahhahhahahhha...isnt 1g/1W the ultimate MOST POSSIBLE you can get?

I gotta say, i'm pretty disappointed in the reaction this thread is getting, i'd think there would be less discouragement on what is usually a really supportive community.
Theres a few ways you can go about doing this. i would imagine flood and drain hydro would be your best bet just for its simplicity and lack of fail points. However, i've got to admit, this might be an ideal candidate for the omega (or some other carousel) garden. At 1200 bucks a pop for the volksgarden (+ another 5-600 for cooltubed 1000 watter you can put out about 2 pounds every 2 months, so multiply by 20 and you're dancing, just keep a hundred mothers and you're good to go. :hump:

Dude, I pulled two + pounds off TWO PLANTS. Not in a month, but using a single 400w HPS.

Certainly NOT impossible. Alot of growers, using verticle\stadium tecniques, or even just some really well done SOG SCROG and\or LST can achieve, and even exceed the coveted 1g per w. Especially when bringing light movers, high end nutes, Co2 and other goodies into the mix.
Maybe you shouldn't call bullshit if you're not sure. I don't know for sure if this perticular claim is true, but i have no reason to doubt it, it just takes alot of work and an effecient system.
Having said that, to get that kind of ratio on a very large scale would be pretty tough.

My 2 cents.
Most of the growers on this site are in fact personal, not because commercial growers are frowned up (usually), but because they're too fucking busy, dealing with all the insane issues that come up when you have a large scale grow. If you choose to smoke it and produce it on a small scale, why hate on someone going big? personally if i ever had more than a pound at any given time i wouldn't be posting on the internet about it, but if he wants to, let it be.
Legal issues aside, because most of us are doing this illegally, and often with numbers that would be considered commercial even when the grows are personal. Why the hate? personally i'd LOVE to see more, better dope out there for everyone, why not help?
 
I would have to say if ya got the money you'll need another house or so. But bro seriously 20 lbs a month will get you caught before your first harvest. I think i would go with the 10 lbs a month... Just wonderin what does one need 20lbs a month for? not to sound like a smartass or anything.

i hear ya...i jumped the gun and after going back and rereading i realized i came off like a dick...not my intentions, just seems like a mighty big claim to pull that much off a single 400W HPS...but by my own admission im still a greenhorn at green thumbing so i probably just should have kept it to myself...sorry, im one of those people who doesnt have a filter between their brain and mouth/fingers...if it pops up, it comes out

by the way...those two plants are fucking crazy...god like...awesome shit kali
 
you can call me a bullshiter all you want funkdocKT i dont care ill keep to the way im growing no one has to believe me i wasn't putting it out there like a boast just saying that if you keep it simple aka 400w hps good strong nutes constant feeding home made co2 with the yeast sugar and shizzle you can pull off a bigger yield than people think no hard feelings mate
 
with that many plants it will take you a month just to harvest
and youll prolly need a friking warehouse
