I was just trying to answer why one might do it. I don't know the specifics of his grow, or really anyone else's here. I tend to avoid grow journals here in general.

I really don't know what happened with Ren. I did hear that he made some racist statement, but never saw it myself, and have no idea what it might have been. I think it was all deleted and he was gone before I knew what happened. People say a lot of stuff here, and unless I see evidence of it myself it's hard to really trust anyone's opinion. All I know is that the guy had some good info, which I occasionally reference myself from time to time. He's got a great thread somewhere about how to make your own ph storage solution to last a lifetime on the cheap. Maybe is a racist, maybe not. I don't know. What I do know is that people can change.
