I see varying opinions on the internet. What is everyone's opinion on rh levels for veg stage. I am doing hydroponics. Should i be keeping my rh on the low side since they are submerged in water 6 times a day?

In veg 65-70% early flower 60-55 late flower 50-40 depending on the strain. vpd doesn’t care what medium you’re in.

Mine is set at 67% and thats what it is at when lights are on but when lights off i have it set to be 70% for veg

What will the leaf temp difference generally be? I don't have anything to test it with. Just something i haven't gotten yet.

Depends on what sort of light you are using. HPS will put the leaf temp a few degrees above room temp, LED's just slightly below room temp. Difference is the amount of infrared difference. You can get a laser temp gun at your local hardware store for around $20.

Since moving to leds my humidity has been hovering around 80rh, 2nd flower same conditions. No more pm like l grew at 65rh with constant venting with hps. l vent for 1 hour before lights out to 1 hr after. No problems last grow or this one so far. Temp is hovering around 90. Stopped venting as using homebrew co2. Girls loving it. Ever been in a greenhouse? Humid as all hell. Just my opinion. Weve all got one. Vpd chart right below hygrometer. First thing l see when l open tent. Rh is always high when lights on. Drops to 30ish after venting. Using spider type light, good airflow.

Like l said higher rh no powdery mildew. Dont see pm in greenhouses either. Still trying to wrap my head around it.
