Good day,
The story: I got a steal on a bloombeast c525 light (less than 70 brand new shipping included). So I liked the features and cost, but not the spectrum necessarily. There are 2 "100w red" COBs and 2 "100w full spec. (Blurple)" COBs I am looking at swapping 2(for sure perhaps all) of the COBS for some Citizen CLU048-1212 90 CRI COB.
I know that I should just go with the DIY route, but this was a steal that allows me to piggy back and reverse engineer.
My question is: if I was to have to replace the COBs, should I replace the reds or the blurple COBs? (Assuming that I do not do them all. Initially I thought I would swap the "Full spect." with 3500k 90CRI COB, but they have IR and UV built in (probably negligible tbh) so I do not know which route to go. Could you give me 2 choices?
1. If I must give up 2 should it be the red or the full spectrum?
2. If I give up all 4 which color temp combos should I do?
Does @CobKits. @Lovetomatoes @Rocket Soul Have any tips?
Thank you,
Cannaburter
