So the chance of having a Cal deficiency using tap water is pretty low? Is this true? If currently I feed>water>feed>water could I replace the regular Ph'd water with a Epsom salt water treatment at 3/4 tsp per gallon to keep Mag levels in check? Does Epsom salt fully disolve when shaken?
Yes epsom fully dissolved when shaken. If your using tap water check your ppm you can add up to about teaspoon of Epsom salt. I use 1/2teaspoon Epsom salt and 3ml call mag in distilled water 250ish ppm water/feed/water. Most cal mag is 3parts cal to 1 part mag. Check ppm if you can

I use a pinch in every watering until flush. Topdress it too at times, dont have many issues with deficiencies.
I wouldn't take advice from anyone suggesting to top dress epsom salts.
I was gonna say i would be worried about salts contacting bare roots and causing burns but ive only grown a few plants successfully, so im just stating what works for me

1/4 tsp in a quart. Always with 1 Tsp fish emulsion. Miracle band aid. Discard after 2 days if adding fish. Turns rancid. Plants still like it. You won't.
I heard the undersides of the leaves should be sprayed at lights out, is that right? Just a light mist or a heavy spray?
