My main reason to do this is to save money on electric. 1. is this worth it in my case??
Some detail on my room are-
Short celling height.. 7ft 2inches.
13 feet wide
39.5 ft long.
Running co2.

I currently am running 1000 watt hps/mh. 42inch umbrellas.
What have i looked at or and come to?

Gavita 1700e Price is expensive, you get what you pay for there top of the line and have a 5year warranty.

HLG- 600r or Scorpion r spec. Honestly i feel best bang for the buck. The spread on the scorpion is far greater than the 600r but for my price point i feel and have been told the 600r will do the job. I am not talking about there 650r as i have too short of a celling..

Growers choice and Spydr are also great concertation and timber but i feel HLG or Gavitia is my way to go. Talk me into anything you can and why?

Spider Farm use good Mean well driver and diodes but they dont push the driver and didoes as its only 438 watts at 240v.

I am looking for advice please and state why you chose one over the other. After talking to many Sellers/growers there telling me they are all in the same ball park taking out the spider farm. What is your take.

Price is kind of a factor Gavitas are like 1100, 600r 699 Scorpion 899. I need like 14 for the first room.
Warranty's are all three year Gavitais are 5.

I am and have all info down on pmol and ppf but understand a plant can only use so much in a perfect environment. I could go on if you want more info from me just ask.. Thanks for all of you input.

Some of those lights are meant to run far away from the canopy like >28 inches and others are designed to be ran at 6 - 12 inches requiring a lot more raising of the lights. What works best for you will depend on your space.

I'm loving my grower's choice 680. I like that everything is included and good to go right out of the box and i don't need to buy a $300 controller if i don't want to. The plants can also grow super close to the light as it doesn't put out a lot of heat. I also have only heard really good things about their warranty.

I’ve got a similar light and I do both. Actually ran a little bit hotter in the past. LEDs are good up to 90F if you run CO2

ChilLed, best bang for your buck.

Run a sealed room with CO2 generator, humidifier, dehumidifier and carbon scrubber.
I love the looks of the ChilLed stuff. I've been tempted to buy their lights a couple times now, but I really don't need more now. I still have lights in boxes.

You can get 5% off through this link though if anyone wants a Growcraft or ChilLed.

If he chooses HLG use code "RIU10" for 10% off. All I really own right now is HLG.

The "RIU10" code for RIU is good on everything. They also have some new Method Seven glasses that I'd get if I didn't already spend like twice that on my Method Seven's.

If you're in another country besides the US just Email them for a discount code. They're a really cool company.

On the HLG website? I tried it and it wasn’t valid.
