Sooooooo…

Did you buy yourselves anything cool for Christmas? I just got a nice X-mas bonus from work yesterday and trying to figure out what to pull the trigger on already. I think I want to try my hand at making one of those cool looking epoxy resin table tops. What you guys and gals thinking?

I've watched so many epoxy videos lol. I want a guitar from one I watched. It looks real easy. Just take your time, I believe you believe in you which makes me believe in you because you believe in yourselfmaxresdefault (3).jpg

That is definitely sweet looking. I've watched several "dirty pour" videos. Which is the style I'm going for. Doesn't look too complicated. Just comes down to timing. And lots of prep and cleanup.

I’d love a small table like that. It’s like the Jordan Valley. I especially like the gouge work; it brings the most out of that chunk of curly maple (?).
I'd like to get a spalted maple body and basically destroy it with valleys and do my own body. But sprinkle it with the fine brass or copper material from work for a little color. And stain the maple pretty dark to really bring out the grain20-TFW011-2_900x.png

Pretty sweet!! You making an actual countertop or something like a coffee table? I've got a table made out of old barn wood shaped like my state. Im gonna map out and router the major rivers and fill that with some blue pearl tinted epoxy, then pour a 1/2" thick clear epoxy over it all.

I'd be pouring it over a kitchen cart/island that I'm currently (slowly) up cycling from an old chifferobe. If it worked alright on that I may think of redoing my counters.

Gullibility is not the same as getting correctly called out on representing someone else’s Internet pic as your own.
I did represent someone else's pic as my own but only as a joke.
Seriously, you tell me who in the history of this Earth has actually bought themselves hundreds of
gifts/books for a single Christmas. I honestly didn't think my post would be misconstrued but you're right
I should have posted a disclaimer. I was going to the next morn just in case but as I found out it was too late.
Damage was done. My bad, my sincere apologies to all including to the OP. An honest mistake and I will be more careful.
