If you dont know how to mix your own from raw materials or just dont use it often enough to justify getting the raw materials, this STS kit is worth every penny. I bought a couple of the refill kits for $20 ea. and its reversed everything I've sprayed it on in 4 applications or less. One kit is good for the reversal of (2) small plants or (1) medium sized plant (under 24"). Spray 5 days before flip, then every 4-5 days after until you get full clusters of male flowers developing with no white pistols. The 2 part mix is good to shelf until mixed, then good for approx 30 days once mixed.

Just buy the Silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate yourself and mix your own. You can make dozens of bottles of that for $20 worth of chemicals.

Ordered from Home Science
Total with shipping 30$

I found this recipe from an earlier post.

0.5 grams Silver Nitrate + 500ml H2O
2.5 grams sodium thiosulfate (anhydrous) + 500 ml H2O
Mix those and then mix together to form solution
Then 1 part solution to 9 parts water.

I was going to force my best growing girl ,Special Queen for the pollen
cross with my second best, Lemon Haze.
These 2 seem to take my abuse better than other varieties I've tried.

If @HydroRed says it works then I'm 100% sure that it does. It's a little spendy though which is why I posted the links to the chemicals. There are only 2 and you just mix each with distilled water and then mix those solutions together you have STS which is basically what that kit is. 2 solutions. 1 of silver nitrate and 1 of sodium thiosulfate that are then mixed together.

Having those 2 chemicals you have the same thing just in larger quantities in powder form that can be mixed in whatever quantities you need at your leisure.

You can scale down that formula to make smaller quantities but the ratio's are correct. Those quantities will make more than you will likely need.

I've scaled it down and increased the strength with 100% success rates.

0.1 grams silver nitrate + 100ml H2O
0.5 grams sodium thiosulfate + 100ml H2O
Mix together by pouring the silver nitrate solution into the sodium thiosulfate solution while stirring.
Add that solution to 1000ml of distilled water. That solution can then be used immediately or stored for several weeks or long enough to complete the spraying regimen and induce reversal and the development of male pollen.

Be careful when mixing the solution as it will stain countertops and other surfaces and those stains will be difficult if not impossible to remove.

Good luck.

IIRC the STS kit from Twenty20 is approx 250 ml total (including the (2) 30 ml bottles)

I spent $20 on raw materials from eBay and have a lifetime amount of product. Just mix small batches in distilled water. I got the silver nitrate 10grams for $13 and 500grams of thiosulfate for $7

Is the regiment what @HydroRed laid out...Spray 5 days before flip, then every 4-5 days after until you get full clusters of male flowers developing with no white pistols?

@HydroRed Just so I'm clear...
Spray once 5 days before flip and then spray once every 4 or 5 days after the flip?

That's pretty damn cheap. Cheaper than what I payed. How were the chemicals packaged and labeled? Everything I see for those prices is unbranded.
