the leaves at the bottom are drying out...is that normal? I've been told not to overwater..but maybe i'm underwatering? or could this be something else?

Some of the older leaves eventually do die off.

Looking good, I'm 2 weeks in as well. I'm still new but the advice I can give is to increase your lighting. Besides that, looking great.

Some of the bottom leaves will turn yellow and die once the plant starts flowering, it's normal. I did notice your leaves drooping a bit though. When a plant is flowering it will consume quite a bit more water than when in veg. How often are you watering it?
