RIP the Notorious RBG

The hypocrisy in his post about hypocrisy is an example of what's wrong with his kind.
More and more as we descend into tyranny I ask myself how far we are from being able to commit the sort of crimes that German society committed under Hitler. Bugeye is exactly the sort I worry about. His willingness to justify immorality is chilling.

You really have problems with thinking. Is it a known medical condition?

You basically think that changing the rules to benefit whatever situation you are in is the same as asking for consistency in the application of the rules. Simply put, the Republicans are crooked and the Democrats have done nothing to be ashamed of in this matter.

Go drink some bleach.
Do we need to review past Democrat positions?

Totally lost on him. He thinks he's winning.

Delightful.
Not even Donald thinks he's winning, if he did he wouldn't be making impulsive stupid moves to blatantly steal and cheat the election, he daily casts the foundational democratic process in doubt nearly every time he opens his pie hole. It ain't over when Joe and the democrats win, it will just be the beginning of the end for the GOP and the whole disinformation infrastructure that supports them and Trump. First the head will be chopped off and the body will go reeling around until it bleeds to death, after that Fox and face book, for fox news it will be death under existing law and regulation, for Facebook and other large social media, FCC regulation. That's just the start, Joe and the democratic majority along with the national security community need to break the back of this bullshit and remove it from the mainstream. Racism is now perceived as a major national security threat and hardcore Trumpers are seen as an enemy 5th column.

If Joe and the democrats win, this bullshit will never be allowed to happen again, the right has much to be accountable for and that process will begin in 2021, starting with Donald and his key henchmen.

Republicans are a shrinking minority. The voice of the majority cannot be denied for very long.

Democrats controlled the Senate for decades, yet deferred to tradition that allowed Republicans to block much needed legislation. Democrats did not do what Republicans are doing. Republicans, on the other hand, are forcing Democrats to fight at their level. We are the majority. Once Democrats get back into power, given the anti-democratic behavior of the Republican minority while they held power, Democrats might not feel the need to restrain themselves going forward. So, yeah, this is very disturbing if one considers what might happen next.

Yeah, but Hitler only won 33% of the vote.

It's an echo. Not saying it can't happen, just saying we aren't yet there. If Trump wins the election and Republicans hold the Senate, I'll say you were right. Because, I also don't think our democratic republic survives four more years of Republican control of the presidency and the Senate. Right now, I don't think Trump wins in November. I also think the Republican controlled Senate is in doubt.

Although likely lost on him, the irony of a trump licker posting a video of Biden talking about Republicans and thier failure of their constitutional duties to some how help his argument truly is hilarious. Thanks for the laugh, dummy.
Not lost on me at all my friend. Do you see the irony in Dems arguing that the Senate should now fail its current constitutional duties? Perhaps it is lost on you?

I will stand by original statement of hypocrisy exposed on both sides of the aisle. The proof of which is two political parties literally exchanging positions overnight on an issue for political gain alone, not principle.

I favor a recess appointment and a confirmation following the election with new Senate. Better to have 9 seated for the election and expected legal challenges from both sides. I think Trump wins and holds the Senate, but puts that at risk by forcing thru a nominee.

You are amazing. I love people who are too dumb to realize that they are dumb.

So you are saying the dems were full of shit 4 years ago when they desperately wanted a Senate advise and consent on Garland? Or are you saying they are full of shit now for not wanting a Senate advise and consent? Do you really not see the inconsistency of your own party? Too funny. Control of the presidency and Senate is the key. Sorry you don’t like this reality. Really truly sorry. I feel terrible for you always being victimized by the ways of the world. Your displaced anger toward me is perfectly understandable. I forgive you.
but it's not supposed to be- that's why we have 3 co-equal branches as a check on executive power.

well right now you've got two 'no' from colllins and murkowski and guess what that says?- what they're telling everyone?- Trumpy* is done..Alaska and Maine stand firmly behind this by making the announcement way before the debate can even happen. they just shut that shit down.

The troll in the room though is that you are acting like the Democrats should not throw this in the faces of the Republicans. Especially because they are completely ignoring a dying woman last wish and completely showing themselves as full of shit for their 2016 withholding of our first Black presidents pick 9 months out from the election day, when currently voting is already taking place.

And I am actually coming to think the entire point of this is to paint a narrative that the Democrats have any ability to stop this what so ever, so you are basically saying they shouldn't be able to complain about the obvious double standard and moreover have another lifetime appointment for the a POTUS that is facing charges for his criminality once he is no longer in office.

If Trump appoints a legit judge (thinking he should do the latino judge in Flordia for political reasons), the Democrats should ask the tough questions and if the candidate ends up being not a troll, they should nominate them.

But I think it is going to be tough for Trump to not appoint a troll who he has something on so he can have a hope of them voting his way if he loses the election and sues it up to the SCOTUS to try to not face those charges Mueller said are waiting for him.

It really doesn't matter though, Trump lost the popular vote, and will lose it again, and has done nothing but stuff judges and 'acting' cabinet further demonstrating the tyranny of the minority that the Republicans have thrived on for decades.
