I'm at second week into flower, the foliage has thickened considerably and I'm and having trouble keeping the humidity down in my 2x2 tent. I've added a bunch of fans below the canopy to keep the air circulating to reduce the risk of humid microclimate forming.
I'm wondering if I should just defoliate the lower leaves to reduce transpiration, get better air movement and expose smaller bud sites to more light. There's conflicting information about defoliating during flower , but it seems that once before flip and then 3 weeks into flower seems to be popular. I'm 12 days into flower right now, should I do it asap or wait another week until "real" buds start showing up? It seems that some branches might have problems catching up if I don't expose them to more light. Or should I leave her alone and hope for the best?
Here's what the plant environment looks like, the sudden changes during the day are from running the dehumidifier.
