Loving these greenhouse pics guys.

These are great inspiration and its always good to see how the local climate effects things, there isn't much on weed growing in greenhouses in MA that I've found in my searches! I need to get some power to mine for next season, but realistically I just need to up my game a little in a few areas. Height, power and auto fans.

@Warfox 16 tbsp for 25gal was definitely way too much for the lange. PPMs came out to 1510 with an EC of ~3. I used 1:4 tea to water to dilute which came out to 690 PPMs/ 1.4 EC (a little light, but id rather wait to see what happens before I use the rest in higher doses). I cant say how much the other stuff attributed to those readings but it looks like 1 tbsp of lange per 5-7gal sounds more realistic.

IMO it’s alot less stressful to go completely uncovered and just worry about the catapillars and not at all about the rain or humidity. So long as you defoliate the lower and have airflow everything is fine, outdoor you end up always trowing a little away anyways. If a giant storm is coming and you have to cut a few days early, so be it. I think they finish quicker with the exposure. Full sun & elements baby, no worries.

Also, if you follow KNF growing and making FPJ you have to collect your local plants before sunrise to maintain the dew that collected on them which supposedly contains HIGH numbers of beneficials. I can’t prove anything but I think the dew settling on each night is a good thing.

^ That being said, not hating on greenhouses at all i’ll eventually get back to one when I can make one proper they just need to be DIALED to run without issue. You guys have some nice ones for sure!!

Outdoors I've lost over 10lbs on more than one occasion to storms and mold. Now that was a lot of my fault with not defoliating correctly or staking them enough. But when you get 40mph winds and pouring rain, only so much you can do anyways.

That's what made me go to a greenhouse if I was ever going outside again. So far I love the greenhouse, but without the fans I added I would be in real trouble with mold I think due to lack of air flow. So far I prefer the greenhouse but just wish I had sized some things differently.

With that said, I still have 5-6 weeks left before harvest and that is going to be the mold test. I am hoping by spraying a couple times of week I will avoid the mold.

What issues were you hitting that made you leave the greenhouse and go outside? So far indoor is easiest for me but the $$$ every month for electric and fans sucks.

I’ve had past experience with them and I know that you need a legitimate setup for canna which I wasnt prepared to build out. If you follow Eric Brandstead of forever flowering he’s probably the #1 wealth of knowledge for greenhouse in the industry. I think I remember him saying you need 100% air exchange 2/3 times per minute optimally.

Again, take what im saying with a grain of salt because i’m not in a greenhouse currently.

For the record like 80% of the time or more if i’m seeing rot outside it’s either catapillar poop or a catapillar dead body that decomposed after it died from eating BT. If you have good airflow and full sun typically everything is fine unless your into October which all bets are off. Strain selection is KEY

Found two small areas of rot last night on one of the colas on one of my Balkhi plants when I did my before-bedtime flashlight check. Noticed a yellow leaf, gave it a tug and you know the rest of the story. It was right around this time last year that the bud rot battle commenced, so while annoyed I'm not exactly shocked. Will clean out some fan leaves on the two Balkhi today to improve airflow and drying, and hit the affected cola with a stronger peroxide solution than I use to keep the PM at bay. Didn't see any caterpillar poop but it rained pretty heavily here last night so it might have washed away before I found the rot spots. Definitely will keep up the B.t. application too.

Was hoping to get the two Balkhi girls through two more weeks, but now that will depend on how well I can keep the mold at bay. The two Waziri are a couple of weeks behind them - one has dense architecture with dense colas similar to the Balkhi so I'm guessing that one could be a mold magnet, but the other is sparser and hopefully less at risk. Nothing is easy around here and you have to really earn your crop, LOL

I’m sorry to hear about the rot, that’s just the worst. How many more weeks till the Balkhi will be done?

Q: Do I break out the leaf blower and get that water out? Things to consider also, 6-9 mph winds should naturally dry things, however, as I Mentioned I have some very dense thick bud with potentially 5-6 weeks to go. Usually I trust nature to tend to these things, but we all know what a fickle Momma Mother Nature can be. Taking all advice with gratitude.

If your easy with them they'll be fine, I just ordered myself a cheap leaf blower for 19 bucks delivered on amazon for this very reason... (Doubt ill be doing my clothesline greenhouse cover, so this is plan B.)

Here’s the problem child; I’m thinking a couple more weeks before hitting the sweet spot for flower - was really hoping to let them go later as that would make for even better hash production, but that seems unrealistic now:

Made an executive decision to chop the troubled end of the cola - last year I was pretty ruthless about cutting out large margins around rot while saving adjacent areas that were clean, and it seemed to work.

Gave it a Cervantes bath and now it is getting a brief blow-dry before I hang it in the closet with the baby humidifier to dry. Was glad to see very little crap floating on top of the water following the bath. And am also glad that giving it the bath didn't seem to impact the scrumptious smell - there's information out there to the effect that peroxide might affect the limonene terpenes, but I'm not smelling any before and after bath difference. Guessing I'll be sampling this within a week, so there's that to look forward to LOL

UGH I know that’s what I need to do to my SFV but I want to her make it to 10 weeks so badly! Then I’ll aggressively trim out rot and wash in H2O2 bath.

There is nothing underside of leaves; over-did it with epsom and locked out my Calcium. I flushed the shit out of it and raked in pulverized calcitic lime. Thankfully they only have a few weeks to go they are already so freaking dense.

But I do keep finding these tiny red eggs look like chiggers but they are eggs???

And in retrospect I should never have given them epsom because I already had Dolomitic lime in soil , just me being a bone-head - shoulda had a V8 instead! Live and learn eh?
