Grower's Choice ROI-E720 MAJOR FAIL!

Throat Chop delivered..

So that finally solves the mystery than, Grower's Choice sent me TWO defective or what I suspect are used lights! So tell me Erik, why then did Grower's Choice refuse to send me two replacement lights unless I sent back the TWO defective lights first and waited for them to receive, inspect, and process the old ones and then wait for them to process, and ship the news ones to me while my plants sit in the dark waiting? I also noticed later on their website it says they will send out replacements for a deposit, but neither you or Grower's Choice would give me that option, the only other option you offered was to take them back for a 25% restocking fee and I pay for shipping!
Also why is grower's Choice and YOUR website advertising these with 2080Umol/800w "Boost" mode when you yourself told me: "...I know what the manual says, however the Grower's Choice Rep told me they do not come with boost mode. They plan on adding it soon however.." -Kind Regards, Erik I also noticed in your video that you did NOT mention the Mythical "Boost" mode YOU and Grower's Choice advertise on your websites and that I paid for.
This can't be legal.
So tell me Erik, what gives? Oh, and think before you answer or have you not learned I keep meticulous records and can back up every last letter in my comment?

The 1000 watt De hps looks to be super efficient still at 1150 2400umol with philips bulbs. What I was reading I might just be high.

lord have mercy on the people who try to cross you lol. you're going after not only GC but the poor middleman schmuck as well on all the social media platforms.
Well dude, the middle man was in on the take. Erik Is a Hussler. Updated the post. they are both still advertising it with boost mode.
I can take a lot, but don't mess with my money or my dream and they did both. I'm good, I have resources, but if I can help some poor Schmuck who's working his way up the rope for his own dream avoid these Fucking Vulture's, then I will rain down Motherfucking Hellfire upon them.
The worst is Erik, I hope that Feminine bald fuck get's AIDS. I set out to buy American, they advertised as being based out of Ontario, Ca. Then I see the giant "Made in China" stamped on the side! I get that American companies resource parts from China, but the money stays in the US. These things are Made 100% in China, the Giant warehouse they are stored in is owned by China, all Erik does is play the part of retailer/middleman and presses a button. They come directly from the Grower's Choice warehouse! I have kind of a far out theory, lemme know what you think....This Covid thing came out of nowhere to us, China kept it quiet until they couldn't contain it anymore. They would have known the borders would be closed eventually. Why risk Millions upon Millions of dollars when they can release them early without boost mode and beat the border closure.? Why else would all of the literature and advertising say it had it, when in reality...what do u think?

I disagree completely and I was unaware only experienced growers could read and interpret information, but if that is the criteria then I guess growing since the day I was an overgow.com member should qualify me.
I didn't just wake up and purchase these on amazon cause they looked cool.
If you aren't aware, amazon will get your refund. Talk to their live support it is very good and they'll get your money back

No, you are correct sir. However keep in mind your PAR meter is picking loud amounts of PAR from other ranges, and off the top of my head around 30-50% of the 660Nm for flower and 440Nm you need for veg. my rec for people buying LED for VEG is don't go to crazy with the Umols, 300-400 max in my opinion. I replaced a 600w MH I was running in a 4x4 tent with an E420, at 3 Feet raised I have never run it at 100%, or 75%, I rarely run it at 50% and run it at 25%, 70% of the time and it beats my HID by a mile. 600w HID vs 240W at 50%= more $$$ for Cocaine and Hookers.

Correct, but I wouldn't buy a light off amazon at all, They offer nothing good. I own and operate a perpetual Hydro garden for military veterans, I can't afford to risk a day without lights, let alone weeks. not to mention what good is a warranty if your 1000$ LED light goes to poop 3 years into your investment and 2 days over your warranty?

Ahh I see you were being facetious when you said you bought them on amazon my bad lol.

Hope it works out well for ya man. Good companies I know of are HLG, timber, chill LED, and grow lights Australia. Supposedly HLG will come out with a bar light build

I totally would have gone with HLG but i want the bar layout. chill is good but slightly overpriced when the roi680 can offer the same for only 850...that's right folks, if you paid more then 850 for the roi680 you got gyped. Grower's Choice has a preset discount of price of $850 shipped and tax free being the lowest.

so you didn't buy right from the manufacturer? I always try to do that, because you are directly dealing with them, and it is worth it!

Literally every decent white light beats blackdogs efficacy and beats them at half the price.

Gavita 2.6umol/j
Blackdog 1.5umol/j
More like copper standard
A higher umol/j has nothing to do with being a better light. All that means is it’s more efficient. A lights efficiency has nothing to do with spectrum and/or footprints PAR and how well it can actually grow weed! Maybe find an actual rating that means a light is better, which you clearly have not. That’s like saying a 4 cylinder engine is better then a v8 Hemi cause it’s more efficient! Just silliness!

Yet your paying 2300 for the highest one they have. with boards, it's a fraction of the price and more efficient so your joking right. With DIY u can do just about anything u would want. want UV? go get a few UV diodes and spread em evenly. What is the price per foot of lighting for the Blackdog? Looking at the info on the 1000W, I'm seeing 36 inches at around 600ppfd I think that's a little bit to low for me I like shooting for 850/900 ppfd at the top of my canopy for the whole flower light cycle. for that light, I would run it around 30 inches or up to 32. so ill say it covers a 5x5 at nice flower max. so Price/Sqft [] 2300/25 = 92$ a square foot to cover. and if on a light mover you're cutting their DLI by a bit.
