I'm new to this forum and growing so any input is appreciated! I planted my 9 day old seedling into my newly built 4 bucket (about 35 gallon) rdwc on 7/28/2020 here is all my stats
Water temp 67-68° no chiller, reservoir outside of tent, 258ppm (50 out of the tap), half potency fox farm big bloom and grow big (only added once), probably every other day adding ph down to bring from 6.2 to 5.8-5.9, 1000w mars hydro led, 2" good quality air stones in each bucket and 1 in the waterfall style reservoir (lots of bubbles everywhere) 60% humidity, 72° (was 77° day before yesterday) in tent.

1 plant is doing noticeably better than the others. And 1 is waaay behind with the roots finally now just popping from the net pot yesterday. All Roots look healthy to me. Here's pics. 2 leaves on one of the plants are turning brown and some others look kinda washed out.

How is it possible for each plant to be so different on a rdwc?

Here's some pics I took yesterday after my water change. I upd the ppm to 516, leaves are getting there darker green color so maybe low on N. I've topped 3 of them 1 time. The roots have changed to a tan color. Idk if its rot the roots are still individual and no stink smell or slime. I am getting SOUTHERN AG GARDEN FRIENDLY in the mail today. More pics to follow

update! Tomorrow will be 1 month since the 5day old seelings were planted in the clay pebbles. Plants are MUCH healthier after the AG. Roots look amazing and even the slow plant is coming along. Here's a good side picture so you can tell the size difference
So my questions are, 1 how do I know when to add more friendly fungicide? 2 should I cut off the dead bottom leaves? 3 why in tf are they growing at such different rate? Ppm is kept between 500-515, ph 6.0 and water stays about 70°

1. you can't over-do AG. i would add 1mL per week (2x a week if you have issues)
2. i don't cut off dead leaves. only when they fall off on their own
3. pic #5. that big fan leaf at the 10 oclock position. looks like a bit of a Mg deficiciency. see the yellowing starting ??
3a. i've found that the more roots especially more roots in the res,, the faster they grow but they will start to even out in their size eventually.

Thank you and good spot! I've heard of using Epsom salt to add magnesium, what's your thoughts?

ever since i switched to leds, i just add 1 gram of epsom per gallon. seems like that solves it. if they aren't in flower, do a quick foliar spray with epsom and water to fix it faster.

Its been about 24 hours since epsom salt spray and leaf color has changed drastically. It didalso leave salt crystals on the leaves maybe I used too much. Thanks for the hint and all the help, I'm sure I'll have more questions. Started lst yesterday too so b4 and after pic.

i use 1 tbsp per gallon roughly for epsom foliar.

i see what you mean about the buildup. i'd turn the light off for a bit and spray with RO or distilled to get that off

Thank you for all the help. Another water change on Sunday using Fox Farms and General Hydroponics, in 32 gallons of 50ppm water I mixed; 17tsp grow Big FF, 15tsp Flora Grow GH, 33tsp big bloom FF, 11tsp flora micro GH, 10tsp flora Bloom GH, 1-3/4tsp Southern AG, 3tsp MagXtra, all to 519ppm.

The epsom spray worked great, but I bought MagXtra and made their foliar spray just earlier today so I wouldn't get the buildup. Water stays 66-71° 1 leaf looks like this?
