Help with Predicted Yield?..

Hi guys,

I have a controversial question and hope with the vast knowledge on RIO I could get a guesstimate of what the yield could be on my outdoor WHITE WIDOW plant. - See photos attached.

It's now about 5 months old and will be beginning to flower over the next week or two. The plant is 80cm tall, 70cm wide and 60cm deep. I have Topped and Fimmed for multiple budding sites, and fimmed 1 week ago to build density on the main budding sites, hopefully helping to increase yield. I made my own compost for the medium and have been using a high N fert during veg, which I'll change to a high P and K fert once flowers have started to form.

I would be happy with a oz from it, which I think is about right, but the review of the strain suggests the yield could be around 5oz's...! Can this really happen from this size plant??

I know there's a lot of factors to take into account but just wanted to know a rough idea of what to expect, something to work for. Is there anything I should take into account to maximise the yield potential or anything you think I need to do to improve my grow?

I'd really appreciate any help or advise, thanks in advance.

Stay safe out there!!!

5 months old?

I would expect a much bigger plant to be honest after 5 months despite all the topping, filming and upheaval.

Sory but just being honest
I know, I have been trying to keep it short and busy, or in other words trying to keep it discrete. Plus although I've done this a few times before I'm still a bit of a newbie to all this!

Hi KK26, I was just thinking about what you said and I was looking into the general height of the strain and according to he below specs where I bought the seeds it says its meant to get to 60cm indoors and 200cm outdooors. As I'm growing in a pot but outside, do you think this is still on the small side? Or is it more or less on track? I planted the seed on the 24th March, with them first appearing around the beginning of April. So I guess in theory they are around 4.5 months old...

In general it is very small for even 4 months old.

I've grown WW many times and it is a vigorous indicia plant that bushes but mostly squat.

I
Mind you, I'm comparing indoors.

Have you had it outdoors all of the time?

Some tips for next grow. Use a fabric pot instead because outdoor plants can outgrow plastic pots fast and become root bound. Probably why your plant is so small for being that old.

Second ....when you ask for a yield guesstimate...
Ppl on these forums like to always say about a pound lol they are just messing with you.

However I'm guess maybe 2 oz. Hard to tell at this stage but it won't be a lot....tho I hope for your sake it is

Hi ganga gurl420, thanks for you views on this and tips on my grow, I will certainly think about this for next session. I normally guerrilla grow and have 12 large plants just about to start flowering but had a plant left over this session and thought about growing it in the garden, so normally don't need to worry about pot size. Just wasn't sure if it would be worth the hassle and risk to do it again if the yield was going to be light.
I know they're joking with the lb mark, I find their comments funny but know this plant is way too small for that yield, as I said in my original post I'd be happy with an oz or two really..but let's see what happens. :D
The plant is just starting to stretch and hairs are starting to appear so hope to be able to know what the yield will be in the next 6-8 weeks or so... I will keep it posted on this thread..

Thanks again for your input, I really appreciate it!

Good news is the plant looks to be healthy.

I do see some indicators of bug damage. If you can keep the bug situation manageable, then you should do alright.

Bout a pound :)

I agree it is really healthy, bar the bug damage! It happened while I was on holiday for 10days. I've treated it now, so hope to have the pests under control! Thanks for your response, very funny with lb remark... I'm still finding it funny! :p
