So I am lost however I dry my bud at 5days its bag n jar ready n I begin smoking...

I asked everyone they all say they dry 3 to 10 days max.avg being 5 before they sell and its prime.

But I saw this on dinafem seeds
During the drying process the water content of the buds needs to be reduced from 75% to 10-15%. Usually this will take around 10 to 14 days.

I dont understand how or why what or where 14 days?? Is that for giant ass donkey dicks?

I grow strong my buds are all thumbnail size girth and 6inch dickydicks long but in the hundreds....is there a different rule here?!?!

Lost as hell and I am chopping now i only went looking at temps with mine being 18c with cold weather i think it perfect to dry in that room instead of moving to the house at 20degree c

3 days is way too short, 5 is still short but a lot better. If your temp and humidity are fine then the best advice I can give you is try drying your plant whole and don’t wet trim if they are drying out to jar ready in 5. Take a leap of faith and try it one just one plant.

If someone is selling bud that has only dried for 5 days then I doubt it is “prime”. I dry mine for 7-10 days, then cure it for 2 weeks, and the difference the extra time makes is pretty substantial. If you haven’t tried curing before then try it out with a small batch and see what you think of the results.

I think there's a lot of environmental factors and personal preference involved. I used to dry whole plants for 10 to 14 days and it never worked out the way I wanted. Now I dry individual buds for 5 to 7 days in a Wedryer then jar for at least two weeks and it's exactly what I like for my buds.

Dinafem is right, moisture content must be under a certain level and that takes time especially the last few percent.

If you forget curing which is an extra step you dont have to do bud is ready to sell in two weeks at the earliest as it takes the extra time for the taste and smokeability to come through.

If you need to cure to get good cannabis your doing it all wrong.

It depends on your local climate.
I’m in the desert now which halves drying times.

It still dosent half the time it takes for the bud to develop its taste and get to sale, i can make the same climate, the taste is much better at two weeks still.

Bud will be drier in your area, it dont make a difference, most have a personal preference for it. Gain an extra gram or so over a different climate on the oz. Still there has never been a problem with drying for two weeks and i wouldnt really jar earlier or feel i need to.

Some over fuss this bud moisture, it says 10-15% to take account of you personally.

Just so. I have to be on guard to catch a good jar-curing time.

I have grown fond of desert-dry weed.

I would think that in the desert you’re putting them in wetter and burping more to accomplish the same thing in essentially a micro environment.

I hang it and slowly air it out at 60 humidity. 20 degrees
Day 4 bacteria breakdown happens.
Day 5 I turn my fans on to circulate the room aswel as extract.
And at this point all the thumb sized buds are dry crispy .taste n smell dank.

By day 8 all big buds are snap dry.
I jar them all up with the rest from day 5
And let humidity hit 70bbefore I open it
Drop to 60 and close.
Repeate.

Some smoke tastes dank some tastes straw like.
Straw ones tasted nice day 5 so I freeze em.
Thawing out removes that small and cured em nice

Gona dry this lot slower and see what the score is.

Any tips am in a 2.4m tent gona blast my fan 8 inch l1 rvk at 50% with dehumidifier set at 60 max for filters life

I slow dry 10-14 days to get them down to 65%ish and then sweat them in the jars a few days to get them to 58. Smooth mouth watering buds no cure required.

Dont hang in a tent with fan and humidity stuff just hang in an open room leave them be.

This has been losing moisture in the pot, in the dark, with air circulation since 5/24. I'll hang it up in the next day or two to finish the process. Interesting to watch it "age".
I'm in no hurry and it's well worth the time. Auto grower.

some of the buds have gone brown, this is not good sign.

I try to keep my room in the low 60’s and the humidity also in the 60’s. Atleast! For 5-6 days and then I cut back the humidity to the high 50’s
Usually go the other way around - 50% first cpl days then 60% til dry.

But in the end its what works for you with your conditions and space.
Many many diff ways to dry and cure decent

That works really well for me. Don’t have any idea why you would want to go from 50% to 60% Hey if it works for you go ahead
