So I have been wanting to get a bong.. but I don't know if I should get it online or buy one in a local shop.

I like to hold them in my hands before buying.... I like to get a feel for the weight and shape of the bong. In order to enjoy smoking out of it, I have to enjoy holding it... if that makes sense.

I have bought a small bubbler on line... but for a high dollar purchase.... like a good bong.... I want to see and hold it in person first.

Uhm, If you want like a foot, foot and a half plastic one its about $30-35.

Small glass ones normally run about 35-45

And Nice ones can range from 80-somethin in the 100's.

I think we can agree that most bongs will get you high, the question is, do you want style, or utility? I personally prefer utility, my bongs last a long time and hit hard, they're also easy to hide, and can be used as weapons. then again, I'm not the most docile person, so it's your decision.
