If u feel you have a salt buildup or nitrogen buildup do u flush mid flower if so anyone have a good method I’ve noticed some edges of leafs a lot darker and I had a couple little brown specs on some lower leafs I was leaving out cal mag not using as much during flower to keep nitrogen levels down first dwc so it’s all a big experiment lights back on at 7pm so can’t take pictures now but flush mid flower yes or no or should I just run a tea for 24 hours

That's realy the only time you need to flush (when the soil has excessive salt buildup). I would flush and then dial back your feeding so you don't have buildup issues again.

Lmao gotta see what she can handle was under feeding due to people’s advice so i bumped up thanks for your input tho u weren’t perfect in beginning either bud @rkymtnman forum is to help not to talk shit but that’s the energy u wanna put out I get it

I can handle advice but you saying don’t over feed it that’s obvious but like I said I’m experimenting so didn’t know if people do flush if they went a lil to high it’s your energy not mine man just don’t understand why u took time out your busy day to say that

How u think u saying that helped me in any way or anybody else that might have that problem? @rkymtnman all I’m here for is knowledge to grow quality medicine for family and myself thought that’s what we all do it for? God bless no worries thanks for your advice

Res temp 66 I’m using souther ag gff as well as hydroguard and pure blend tea I definitely will swap out lower concentration she’s in a rapid rooter didn’t know if I needed to get an actual flushing product or just lower nutrients etc was thinking of just running a tea for 24 hours as well but don’t want to starve her same time hints the inexperience and if anyone has been thru this with dwc before I appreciate all who have helped

my point was that if you don't overfeed you won't have a salt buildup. alot of new growers think the same thing: give them more nutes and they will grow more/faster. that's not how it works. then they get tip burn which may or may not lead to nute lockout which then leads to "why do my leaves look like this?" posts.

sorry if that offends you for some reason.

Your good man I totally get what your saying reason I keep upping nutrients is because ppm drops sometimes 10points over a night cycle and pen is calibrated take it to local grow store tell me all is good so they said just up until my Ppm stays stead or is only a little drop couple points I appreciate u saying some just frustrating I’m told million diff things that’s why experience best teacher and u guys that are well known members I figured would of at one time had this problem and would combat it in certain way is all I’m saying looking for solutions

I’m running the secret sauce recipe if your familiar I just have to guess because I’m in dwc and I know u dial it back and don’t run full strength

Anyone run this line up dwc because I have to guess strength and etc any help be amazing
