I'm searching for a heavy duty lid that does not have a break in it 3/4 of the way across, as I want to center the net pot (don't mind making the hole myself). You can use that lid for what you want. You just wouldn't wanna pull the tab off and it will keep it all together. You'd have to tweak or trim a few things so you can get the lid on and off easily.
