No lying about it being about dead algae or something....but could you answer my questions as well..???.. I have no problem building ... whether we agree with each other or not..but Khan University.. here's the link to the site...you can navigate and will see lots more.. but the section I was quoting was from light and photosynthetic pigments...Happy Grows!
Good morning. You again quote the same thing which does not speak about light "penetration". And also just mentioning a webpage is not really quoting: if there is any part of this page rhat is relevant to penetration please just do a copy paste. If you have any minimum of info from there that support your claim. Right now youre just saying theres a graph that speaks a lot of blue and more of red. But its not talking about penetration. Maybe reading things thru again?
I don't think it's a method...more so just FACTS about plants that photosynthesize... Happy Grows!
Ok, im with you here but somehow somebody out there did some research that gave results and he compiled this absortion graph. How did they do this?? There is no mention from the esteemed khan university. Im fairly sure you understand that this wasnt an image that was sent to someones mind by god in a dream? So where does it come from? Do you know that it looks extremely similar to the reaults of a study on dead bacteria?
The other graph you showed is similar to the Macree study which was done on live plants, measuring how much CO2 was created after photosynthesis of specific light wave lengths.

So i repeat: where do you get your studies from originally? Cause "the internet" doesnt really count as a source.

Id love to answer your questions: what is absorbed into the leaf: im talking about which light gets absorbed already on the surface of the leaf (red and blue) and which light gets absorbed deeper into the leaf (green) meaning not as easily as red and blue. And absorbed means light absorbed by a photopigment in order to be photosynthesised.
Can you formulate properly your other questions, cause "help me with violet" is not really understandable?
" then wonder why RED is soooo weak" please explain and maybe formulate a question.
Really???... (crickets)???.. Happy Grows!
I realize that you are feeling frustrated with this, people bashing your grow for no reason but do you really understand yourself, what is the case that your making? Nobody else does. I dont have anything against your grow or your lights, only idea that anything you presented says anything to support blue light penetrates deeper (cause it has more energy? Its more powerful? Cause blue lights are all american?
This just seems like you just said something with absolute no evidence but some highscool type website and now you cannot for the world squirm out of the situation. Happy growing to you as well.

In fact i think i allready understand what happened, this is what you get for mentioning her name 3 times, she downloads into a new host and cycle starts again.

How many watts of light from the sun actually touch the ground?...is it 1400 watts??? Which would be roughly 130 watts per sqft???... just wondering if this is correct? Happy Grows!

i saw what you postet, therefore i mentioned that the 98.000 lux isnt all day and where asking about your average you give your plants.
some recdent studys youre may interessted in (posted on rui allready).
and yes, uv light can be efficient for photosynthesis, but take your time watching the videos.
