American Companies That Support China, are you surprised?

i have an adult son, but his mother and i broke up years ago, and we don't communicate. i did pay her monthly though, till he turned 18. more than i was required to.
i was one of a pair of fools, anyone is a pair of fools to start a family before you're ready. there are several methods of contraception....pick one and use it till you get your shit at least semi together...wish i would have.
and i do not think someone who doesn't have a load of money is a bum. i've never been interested in the acquisition of wealth myself.
officially, i didn't make a goddamn penny last year. not one. unofficially, i made about 30k....i would happily pay my 15% taxes if they would take it without questions....but i've always managed to pay my bills and feed myself. maybe i'm a little too proud, but i'd rather go hungry a few days than take a handout. every single times i've ever taken any "help" in my life, i've regretted it, almost immediately. people who offer you help want to become involved in your life, want to help you make "better decisions".....want to be condescending sanctimonious fuckface assholes....i'd rather do without and live in a fucking box. so it's kind of hard for me to understand how people can live a life of leeching...off of their parents, their friends, the government, and through the government, everyone who pays taxes....

you want to change the system so that everyone gets fair payment for the work they do. good, totally behind that.
you want to change things so that everyone pays their fair share, and the super rich can't avoid their load of the tax burden. good, great idea.
you want everyone to have equal opportunity, to not be discriminated against because of ethnicity, religious beliefs, sex, or sexual orientation. fine, no problem with that.
you also at least seem to want to change the system to make it impossible for anyone to become rich. not so good an idea. those people are the ones who invent, innovate, create new jobs and new businesses. as long as they're paying their share and aren't using unethical means to achieve their goals, i don't care if they make ALL the fucking money, and use it as toilet paper.
and while they're busy doing that, i'll be playing in my garden and taking a walk in the woods. which are the things i want to do. win/win
Sounds as if we mostly agree. Where you claim we disagree is based upon your imagination. As I said, I want the distribution of wealth to be rolled back to that of the 50's. Wealth distribution has always been concentrated in the top 10%. In 1952, 70% of national wealth was held by the top 10% of families. In 2012, 77% of national wealth was held by the top 10%. What is troubling is the trend is sharply in favor of the top 10% accumulating more with most of the gains going to the top 0.1%. I'm not interested in penalizing productive people who, by their efforts gain great wealth, I'm interested in reversing a trend where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. We have a lot of investment in education and infrastructure to do in this country and that's where I propose we get the funds to pay for it.

a challenge...i see it more as being an extermination program...China already see's it's citizens as expendable resources. when a resource stops being a resource and becomes a liability, you get rid of it. see how easy it is when you ignore people's humanity and treat them like livestock.
"that cow ain't producing milk anymore."....."well, let's shoot her and make burger out of her."
As sick as it is/seems to be, there is something about them not just committing genocide on all the indigenous people they have in their country like we did with the Native Americans and 'Mexicans'. They are just trying to educate people... Humans are so scary.

I would love a system that education is open to every single American citizen all of the time, k-whatever high level they can get to. It is weird with kids/adults being in the same building, so would need to figure that out, but our school buildings are so underutilized, have them 24 hour, teachers always available to do lessons as people work their way through school if they messed up when they were young.

We are so quick to penalize everyone like as a society we have a need to not give them the opportunity to screw up again.

i use my imagination all the time. i try to imagine what will happen if X happens. X can be a lot of things. trump getting re-elected, a meteor crashing into the earth, water levels rising and driving half the population of the planet into the other half...i hardly ever imagine good things happening...they don't happen that often, and you don't need to be prepared for good things...
i'm just curious how you plan to achieve this redistribution. companies are private entities. they can pay their employs whatever they want, as long as the employs are willing to work for what they're offering. if you put controls on companies, forcing them to pay people certain amounts, then you remove competition from the job market. why would more skilled people even want to work for the same rate as an unskilled moron, who they'll have to carry? if someone is receiving less pay because they're the wrong sex, color, or religion, that's wrong, and should be stopped. if they're receiving less money because they're barely competent to be doing what they're doing, they should shut the fuck up and be happy to be getting it.
education for everyone in the country should be a guaranteed thing. guaranteeing that they will learn a fucking thing is impossible. you can level the playing ground, but some people stumble over their own feet. do we all have to carry them for their entire lives, so they can enjoy the same standard of living as the people who aren't inept incompetent useless fucks?
if you're not having a good life because you weren't offered any opportunities, were discriminated against, were the victim of institutionalized racism and prejudices, then you certainly deserve a better life, or at least the opportunities to make it that way.
if you're not having a good life because you're an incompetent ass who can't do a fucking thing right....maybe you deserve it?
