2024 Think Tank Political Strategy

This is my platform. This is what I believe in. A common sense Direct Democracy. For the people of the people by the people; as the Constitution intended. (Key words to look into = Direct Democracy/Referendum).

-Move to a Direct Democracy/Referendum (Swiss System)
-Overturn citizens united
-Shut down lobbying
-MIC not above the law + with major oversight
-Strengthen the Bill of Rights/Protect Civil Liberties
-Caps on Pharmaceutical companies/medical billing
-Emplace banking regulations + Wall Street tax
-Benchmark on what percentage of wealth the 1% can own. The rest must be taxed, given to charity, or seized.
-Renewable Energy
-Updated education system (Up to speed on the technological paradigm shift/Prepare for future job markets
-Environmental Protection/Clean up our oceans
-Prison Reform.
-Move to a more diplomatic international approach, as opposed to only military action. Reallocate money from defense budget to internal domestic security/infrastructure projects.
-Protect Religious liberties
-Marijuana reform + previous marijuana records expunged.
-Drug and Alcohol recovery programs.
-More civil service projects/involvement in the community.
-Gut the patriot act/Dismantle surveillance state (Warrant needed).

The big 3 here are as follows:

1. A Direct Democratic System via Referendums.
2. Stop the Subversion of Democracy (to include foreign entities).
3. Proper allocation of resources (Oversights/Appropriations).

Its going to take a whole lot more than withholding your vote over not getting Bernie to get that list enacted into law.

Personally, I prefer the proposals in AOC's New Green Deal. Much of what you wrote is in there. Betcha didn't know

If you want your agenda to even sniff the light of day, vote Democrats in.

I think a moderate left ticket. Emphasis should be on moderates that aren’t extreme in any direction as the base. By emboldening the 10th amendment you could have people who use to be on opposite ends of the spectrum voting for the same candidate for president but variations of civil liberties and guns etcetera completely left up to their own state representation via direct democracy. Right now 21 states have direct democracy. We should push to expand that. There is definitely a feeling of disenfranchisement and anti elitism in the air.
