What LEDs are you using?
Kingbrite quantum board 250W they come out to $195 shipped and seem to be exactly the same as the overpriced ones a place sells here in the states.. one thing i did though was cut the board in half so i could spread 2 panels apart a bit so each plant gets better coverage.

Well you would need to send off a diode for testing to know they were the same, but yeah i get what you mean.
KB have been around long enough to want to keep their good name.

Anyhow i asked to make sure your not hitting them too hard with them there photons. Its easy to do with QBs.

What watts per square foot are you running and what distance from plants?

2x4 tent, right now they are about 20" from the plants and i have them at about 80% just wanted to go easy on them til they grew a little.

On my last grow i actually kept lowering the lights til about 10" and 117k lumen (or lux can never remember) and the plants seems happy no matter how i set the lights.. so no idea.. i ended up just adjusting to 60-70k and leaving them there.

P.S. never did the math for W/sq.ft.. and am lazy right now:)

2x4x5 is 40sq ft /250w = 6.5w/ft?

P.P.S. not sure on the actually wall draw, but i'm betting it's pretty close.. really happy with how they performed. If i had more money i would order light strips from greenegene and make a 4 bar setup that goes the full width of the tent. but not spending more on this hobby right now

That would be cubic foot. Sounds like your roughly running around 30-35w per square foot, which in veg is a lot.

Just keep an eye out for light stress, was the light green that made me ask in the first place.
Could just of been your ph was too low for a period as you said before. But i have plants that will not tollerate that wattage and plants that like it.

Ok.. so i am just finishing my first grow, has had it's ups and downs with plenty of mistakes.
Both plants in soil
started on FF growbig, but switched to jacks 321 at flower and the plants LOVED it... not extra nutes at all.

Mainly looking on advice when to harvest..

I have 2 babies going on coco now but no pics today..

1 plant is a Jack Herer that has been a pain in the ass since a baby. never stretched, never got tall but put out some decent buds, today is week 7 and i think it's just about ready to chop. It doesn't have near the trichomes of my other plant, i am expecting it to not be great, but learned a lot.

I took a couple of pics before work as good as i could. There is a bit of amber still some clear, but my eyes are crap and not sure.. The plant is still on nutes, haven't flushed due to not sure when to start.

Second is the Durban Poison.. this plant just loves life and never once gave me an issue. Although the buds aren't massive, i didn't know what to expect anyway. Here are some close ups of it.

And one more of the durban...

And here is the Herer, it's about 18" tall.. just a run.. but decent buds. The burning was from a mistake a few weeks back.. added tiger bloom :( 2 days later it was cooked bad..

Thanks to anyone that sees this :)
Great job!
Nothing beats your own stash you didn't have to folk over cash with nothing to show for it next month.

So.. harvest today... learned a lot from harvesting.. instead of making 20 tops like i did on that herer i'm going to be more selective and go for like 8 good tops.. hopefully larger. Also.. Trimming buds SUCKS BALLS... like 3 hours to trim 2 small plants.. wtf.. And the durban was so sticky i ended up having to stop to clean my scissors.. but it's hung now.

The room i hung them in (my computer room in my basement) is 64 degrees 57RH.. good enough?

So.. the babies.. not great, the durban clone is going fine, i trimmed off some extra branches today and started getting it to the shape i want.
BUT.. the stupid white widow.. i barely bent a branch and it snapped right off.. so yeah... i already am hating the thing. Might try to find a friend with a spare clone that's already started to steal and replace it:)

It looks too bright still but that's mostly the light.

A little update.. not much to show.. Going to pop a GG4 seed probably next week.. and i need 1 other, not sure what to grow, i got free seeds with my order for "Tie Dye" looks like a in-house breed from my seed place.. BUT.. it's fucking Indica, after they said "no problem, we will send sativa in the free also" so... wtf... maybe i'll just do 2 GG's

The WW, looks a mess due to some more training before pic. it will get there :)

The Durban, it's still a little light colored, but getting better. :)

Looks like The Durban needs magnesium...if you're still using coco, it tends to leach calcium and magnesium quite badly.

Yeah, i have upped the mag and cal a bit... it's coming along, all a learning curve:) Only thing i don't like is the watering time.. the top of my coir doesn't even start to lightenup/dry out for 3 days.. i'm afraid of watering too much and hurting the roots..

Dried the last grow for 11 days, jarred the buds tonight nothing spectacular... 3oz durban, and 2.5 Herer.. the herer never made it over 18" so i'm happy with that.

Odd thing is.. i HATE the smell of the herer.. i can't even describe it, kind of like cat piss (but not ammonia smelling) just i don't know, it offends my nose :) BUT.. the taste is very nice.

So.. moved them into the flower tent.. not 12/12 yet but getting closer since i know that durban will stretch a ton. I did some more LST last night.. and in a moment of what will probably hurt me.. the durban had 3-4 stalks that were just way taller than the rest.. i just chopped em to even it up.. still plenty there to grow though.. will see..

nice job! is that a dehumidifer in the middle in the last pic?
that herer tho, are you saying you might have stunted its growth by topping too much? is it still good enough to harvest?

i'm still working on my first grow. :hump:

I finished those over a month ago.. already curing. The herer was just a pain to grow.. i had burned them when they were young, well the herer. and it just never got big, the durban though wouldn't care whatever i did it was happy. I ended up with about 3.5oz from each plant which is more than i can smoke i a year.. the herer has the weirdest smell i have ever smelled, like chemically. no idea why, same nutes on both plants.

I have a white widow and a durban clone going right now they will be my last grow, really hate growing it's boring and just not fun to me. plus i can't get my tent under 80% humidity (so i assume the buds will get mold and end up in the garbage) since summer hit and i'm not buying more crap, i could have bought a lot of weed for what i have spent. Funny part is i just bought everything to do a DWC setup about a week ago then said fuck it i'm done.

These are the current ones..
This is 12 days into flower.. i just cleaned up the bottom of them then took the pic.. both plants are pretty happy and i'm happy with how they have come out so far.
P.S. the WW is smaller cause it was a seed and the durban a clone.. plus the durban is lanky to start with

white widow, nice! I've always wanted to try that (smoking and growing).
I see a lot of low stress training going along? ideally I want my closet grow small and bushy.
funny you think growing is boring. i think it's exciting at the idea to grow different strains. my problem is it takes so long and I can't run many plants so not much to do haha. mine are still in their starter cups

nice setup!
