Popping a few of the Black Lights (Black Domina x NL#1) crosses to see how he behaves with different ladies
Chem'91(skva) x Black Lights
Chem Kesey #9 x Black Lights
H.A.OG x Black Lights

I'm also checking out the Sour Diesel x Granny Skunk from a few seed runs ago, I really think they will blend well together as they are both heavy on the sour.

This has never happened before for me... I soak my seeds for 24hrs then place them on paper towels like im supposed to,but the seeds never popped... I dont know how old the seeds are cause they were gifted to me,but they were all bodhi crosses except for one... Even a couple of MEPHISTO'S also... What could i be doing wrong??? Its crazy cause I have others that have popped and are up and running... Go figure... Im trying to do an outdoor grow but if the seeds don't pop in time,I'll be out of time!!!

Before i went away,i was a tester for Useful so i never got a chance to buy seeds and get yours as a freebie... You have some crosses that i KNOW I would enjoy growing/smoking and I was just wondering how i could get some,that's all... I apologize if I was getting on your nerves... Was not my intention... Peace!!!

I give beans 2-3 days in the paper towel to crack. If they don't pop, I use the pliers to crack them. As long as the seeds are not overly soggy, they still have a chance of getting back on track after manually cracking them. Since they've been moist for a few days, try to crack them with your fingers first.

The first way is to use your fingers to slowly clamp down on the seed until you hear a pop. The seam of the seed should run along the length of your fingers. Your finger pads will allow for some cushion while clamping down. Once you hear the pop, proceed with your usual germ procedure. If the seed is being stubborn, try the next way to crack it.

The other way is to use pliers. If you worry about crushing the seed, you can wedge some cotton or other soft substance to limit a full closure of the pliers. Slowly clamping down will give you the same "pop" noise. Just go slowly and you'll hear the crack without crushing the seed.

While this can't guarantee successful germination every single time, it has saved many seeds that would've just been tossed.

The freebies were with a recent drop, don't know if they are still available as freebies at GLG,JBC, or DCSE. I'm making sure the crosses aren't duds before letting them out into the wild. I may appear in a US seed bank in the not too distant future. No apology necessary :bigjoint:

Don't think it's anything you're doing wrong, at least with 'my older beans', I've tried germing 10 each of the SSDD and C'Funk F2's just to test em' and only had one of each pop a tail(didn't really take much care of them tho' and think I might of cooked em')..................... I think they 'should' be viable, but just a bit feckin stubborn. Hopefully the cracking method will work for ya'................fingers crossedbongsmilie
