How high from canopy are the bulbs? How far apart?
I noticed the size of flowers on tomato plants higher up that appeared since I got these lights on them are double the size before they open and you see the yellow flower as ones before lower and previous to using UVB. I have grown tomatoes outside many years and I have never seen that before.
My only concern is keeping light the over same area(top of your buds) but I suppose that is when the THC is supposed to help the plant fight it off but leaves may take a beating but if go slow I doubt it the one plant I mentioned just check look great but leave the plant exposed like that again but good to know there is leeway.
I should check the spread with meter once I am all hooked up as a cheap lux meter will pick up some of the visible light I tried already.
Grow looks great!
What temp/humidity level do you run in veg/flower?

There are some in hydroton balls hydro and others in Biobizz light mix
Id need to check temp and humidity .

Fair enough but why not use a timer and not go near it?
one should have a hat, good UVA and B sunglasses, long sleeve pants and shirt on if you need to quickly go in for some reason for the short period a day they are on which I see no reason to do so unless it was an emergency
I have no kids or pets so only one that is exposed is me.
I, in past, have managed men exposed to extremely high levels of sunlight UVA-B and C and had certain protocols and one was covering up, no shorts, suntan lotion was provided as was eye-wear, don't wear it then don't complain if sun hurts you.
I consider the risk worth the outcome, I can already see is going to be significant.
I am sure some person will not follow common sense and possibly harm themselves but they may as well with something else like a getting zapped by a light they mess with or drinking something they mixed by mistake as they didn't take a sharpie and label it(decanting) or starting a fire with bad wiring it is about using your head.
I feel perfectly safe but you are wise to be cautious it can be a dangerous product in the wrong hands.

i am midway thru my first run with UV. still figuring it out. right now i have two 36" 12% arcadia bulbs in a 4x4. running middle 6 hours of 12/12.

i am growing two strains that i just ran without UV, and so far, one of them seems to have an increase in trichome production and smaller buds.
the other strain looks similar to when i ran it without UV, with maybe more trichs (ill have to examine pics at the end)

day 49 right now so plenty of time to go. i'll post some pics and stuff when they're done.

I think that why many suggest to wait till half way through flower, but if it is just head stash then I don't care if it's super dank!
Hit em on side of canopy if you can make room.

i think thats what the extra strong agromax bulb is for just, headstash. running it through veg & flower shrinks yield
